Home Depot [homedepot.com] has the 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion USB Portable Power Source available now. Free shipping to store.

Appears to be a relatively new item available in the US. Has been available in Australia for years.

Until now, the only product available for Ryobi to get portable USB power was the 3rd party USBeast [getusbeast.com], which sold for $28.99 and is now out of stock.

Features:
  • (2) USB ports for convenient and simultaneous charging including (1) 1 Amp port and (1) 2.1 Amp port
  • Unit powers off after 8 hours of charging to conserve RYOBI battery life
  • Conveniently charge your smart devices anywhere without the hassle of finding an outlet
  • Compact so you can store in small spaces like toolboxes and bags
  • Snaps onto the top of all RYOBI 18-Volt Batteries for easy portability
  • 3-year manufacturer's warranty
  • Includes: (1) P743 18-Volt ONE+ Portable Power Source and operator's manual
  • Battery and charger sold separately

Wish it had a three prong outlet and higher amp charging
The Ryobi RYi150BG Power Inverter has an AC outlet, but still only 2.1A USB output.

Not sure why paying full price for an item is a slick deal. Just because it is 'available' and a new product doesn't make it a good deal. Maybe you guys can start a Ryobi forum for this sort of thing if it isn't already a thing.

I also agree the power inverter is a better buy and it falls under the battery return system as well. You better finish up before the end of the month when it finally stops.
Don't think the Ryobi power inverter is included in the current Ryobi battery + free tool deal.

I own 20+ batteries and this still serves no purpose. See my post above. The other guy is right about a powerbank being a far better solution.
Perhaps. I personally will probably pick this up at some point. I see a use for it camping when there is no electricity around and you are bringing other batteries and tools.

But to each their own Peace

You can charge off the radio which makes this thing silly. If you don't have the radio, you are mismanaging the battery return system.

What do you mean by "battery return system"?
