I like world map but this 2k piece is probably too difficult for a beginner? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HGA8N74

How about just work on it here and there and every now and then, probably still too difficult?

It's a puzzle. Anyone can brute force their way through with enough time. The question is will you enjoy it. Lots of similar color sections. A beginner would really struggle and likely give up. I would suggest something easier.

For anyone who's considering a puzzle but need lots of time and have minimal space, look up a puzzle roll. It's essentially a large piece of felt that's stiff/flexible enough to stow your partially completed puzzle. Pull the roll out and continue the puzzle.

Alternatively, a cork/bulletin board that you can buy for $10 at Walmart. The pieces stick to the cork pretty well and you can slide the whole board under your bed!

Cork board! great idea! I particularly like the roll because of how little the footprint is when it's rolled. Heck you can probably look up a DIY on making your own. Just gotta get the appropriate gauge/thickness of felt.
Then you can be a nerd like me and bring your puzzle with you to a coffee shop and...
