"The only thing that is the same is the brand" That is patently false. The R5 has a different CPU/iGPU, 8GB vs 4GB RAM, and 256 vs 128 GB SSD. Everything else is exactly the same-- same case, same screen, same battery, same wifi, etc.
At $200, tbere has never been a new laptop with comparable specs -- 2.5 lb with metal construction, 1080p IPS screen, backlit keyboard, decent CPU (4.6k passmark, and beyond 3k most consumers won't be able to tell a difference). This is the 2nd time this laptop dipped to this price. There is a reason this deal is popular every time it is posted.
