Thermarest. Even their X-lite neo backpacking one pound pad is tough as nails. Though it sounds like an antelope falling into a pool full of aluminum foil when you lay on it and it's new.
It's 5.0

What's the R value? It's heavy at 1 lb 14. My Xlite is half that with an R of 4.2.

4.4 I believe. I almost passed this last night. One reciew warned it was an older model without the Bellow sack to blow it up, and it's way too much to inflate by mouth. I can't vouch for the valve style

Good deal, but I have heard enough stories of BA pads failing on trips.

Nope, fail. Bad pad and bad customer service at BA.

Got one. I am sure I can return it to REI if there is any issues. Can't beat the R value at this price

I've owned a BA insulated Q-core pad for around 6 years. On my last trip it has now started a slow leak where it needs to be re-inflated the next day but does not go flat overnight.

That said, its been an excellent pad for 5+ years! They are pricey but if you can find a good deal I recommend them.

Klymit. Use mine weekly for the past 3 years. No leaks

I have a Klymit but I wouldn't choose it as an example... they're the poster boy for "occasionally needs repair"

On a complete and total tangent, for some reason I saw this title, immediately thought of 'Fat Agnus', and became nostalgic for my awesome Amiga! Wink
