Fire stick is amazing if that is the only thing you have tried. Once you use something else you will instantly see how bad the fire stick is. Very user unfriendly.

Roku is much more kid/grandparent friendly. I hate Amazon's UI for most of their devices.

That is a good deal as well, but it all depends on what you want to use it for.
Sideloading has always been a less then pleasant experience for me, but others may need that functionality. I also do not like having to scroll through a bunch of crap or search to find what I want.

No it's not. More apps on roku. The Roku api also blows firetv outta the water. Ive experienced better quality and more stable streams on roku compared to my firetv

I disagree completely. The Fire stick pushes Amazon content and is much more closed off than the Roku ecosystem.
