    I bought this for $100 6 months ago since I needed a garbage disposal. So far it has worked great. It replaced a builder grade disposal. It's way quieter and grinds up anything we throw at it.

    I have this and bought it for $79 in October I believe and it's pretty good so far. The only issue I had was the hose that came with was tad bit. Had to modify it. Overall great product. Powerful and quieter than what we had. It's not too big for the power.

    These are nice, I've installed a lot of Waste Kings in the past (also no problem but require a special adapter and a little more noisy) but this seems a little smoother and quiet. The only issue I had with this unit is the diameter is a little larger than my old one so I had to modify my cabinet a little.

    Does anyone know:
    Life expectancy?
    Will it mount up to an insinkerator flange? And will the sink drain easily adapt?
    Is it better than an insinkerator?

    I looked at a model from Costco recently; I think there were complaints about a plastic collar, and generally not living up to the paper specs vs real world performance. Not sure if it was this model, I think Costco only sells 2 different garbage disposals though.

    The Moens are looking good to me for size. They seem to not have a hex key to unjam though. People talk up ise & waste king, but I read about @5 year failures for both (regardless of $100-300 model), and ise only has 1 ss chamber model. Also seems like ise warranty support sucks.

    Seems like there aren't great, affordable, 10+ year garbage disposals on the market.
