Some tips for using the machine:
Use dry, not oily beans. Lavazza Supercrema is a good option.
Preheat your cups using the hotwater function, otherwise you're sapping heat away from your shot.
Start on the super fine to fine setting, then go more coarse if you need to. If your shots are sour then keep going more fine. Coffee should never be sour!
Playing around got it down to $431.28!! Awesome deal. did Auto20 and auto10
Yeah, former BES870 owner here, now have a Saeco Exprelia as of a month ago. I liked the ability to fine-tune with the Breville, but sometimes that was my downfall because I wasted a lot of time and beans trying to get it right. One button on the Exprelia and it kicked out a perfect shot, rich and sweet, beautifully extracted, something I've seldom tasted in my own kitchen before. Big fan of the one-touch superauto. What a marvel it is.

+1 on ALL tips above. Medium roast, non-oily beans, filtered water, and one more thing: DO YOUR MAINTENANCE and do it on schedule and when otherwise required. If you don't have the will or the time to do the proper machine maintenance, a superautomatic isn't for you. Best wishes.

Does the 10% stack on this also for new customers?

BTW the great deal is the refurb units with Milk, but they are out of stock

Not that I'm aware of, tried stacking $20 off $200 and it removes the 20% off coupon

I feel like this would have been a better choice over my breville bes870xl. I don't mind the learning curve and trying to really dial in my shots but it can be tedious and my wife absolutelt hates it. If this was around yours price then I bought my breville I think I would have purchased this instead.

You guys are killing me with the comparison over breville. I can't make the switch now ugh, this is a great price, wish it was around before I picked up the breville.

I've had one since October when it was around this price ... I took a few days to nail the grinding ... I wish I could grind super fine but I had to dial down a bit else it would get stuck more than half of the times, I using Lavazza Super Crema. Ever since it simply just works. I only use bottled water, and it does use a lot of it, it's not o my for coffee making, but also for its internal rinsing process, that you don't really see. Keep it full!

Also, clean your machine. Use both the declacifier as well as degreaser tablets.

Would RO water be ok to use?

I have a simple nespresso machine - thinking about upgrading.

If I just wanted espresso what machine would y'all recommend. I've been looking at the Jura Micro 1.
