It looks like AT&T may be starting a new promotion for the start of the month. I just went to my account to see what is offered since my 100mbps fiber plan is about up. Only 100mbps($45/mo) and 1000mbps($39.99/mo) is offered, no 300mbps is offered, but it was available a day ago for $40, and I saw an ad for it on TV today. If you have AT&T internet, check the plans offered in your account dashboard. There is no mention of equipment charges, but this is for a bundle. Southern states.

AT&T Internet 1000
Includes unlimited internet data$59.99
$20 off for 12 months with bundle-$20.00

Internet subtotal
$39.99

The $99 plan was a good while back, and $70 has been around for some time. Since you have been a customer for awhile, have your on fiber line and equipment, you should get a loyalty adjustment or just an adjustment that locks you in for 12 months. Check the wiki(post #2) for some successful post. A post just a few back did the down grade/up grade online, but got hit with the equipment fee. I'd keep trying and hope for a friendly rep. It may be that you are on a plan that hasn't expired. If so, others have had phone reps adjust them.
I've been on this plan ever since they rolled out fiber nationwide. This was the deal where if I opt in to them advertising to me I get it cheaper. They did away with that a while back. I'll try again another day.

Showing $59.99 mo plus taxes and fees here in Sacramento. So after those, I'm pushing $68.00 . I don't need the speeds, just a $35. rate
I am in Northern Calif. Bill total $49.99 for my fiber internet 1000; no tax, no fees.

I just chatted with rewardcenter.att.com and was told that within the first 2 weeks of services being installed I can expect to receive a claim letter(s) that will include instructions on how to claim my reward(s). I've claimed my first $100 giftcard. For additional $100 giftcard I should receive the claim letter(s) by 4/29

Yup I got my first $100 a few days after installation, but it's been more than 3 weeks and I haven't received the extra SAVEMORE $100

Just signed up for both $250 rewards. Unfortunately I get the Equipment fee but it's pretty much waved with the rewards. Lets just hope ATT Fiber doesn't suck in San diego..

Just contacted rewards CSR through chat. Was told the extra rewards added by codes were not in the system but they would manually process for me.

I've called twice, first time last month when I saw this deal posted, then again today. My current 70/mo promo for Gigabit fiber ends May 18th. The rep said the system won't let him change to the promo and to call back one week before the contract end date. So, should I keep calling or should I log in online and switch to the $90/mo 300mbps plan in hopes that it will let me switch to the new promo price? I don't like the idea of raising my bill $20 in hopes that it will unlock the promo pricing.

I was told the same thing. I had to down grade and after that change was processed the promo is available.

Be careful, last week a poster did just that, it worked but he got stuck with the $10 equipment fee. Since you're so close to the end of your plan, I would wait.
