I've been looking for one for camping and it seems like a good deal. Ordered online with free shipping. If it arrives dented up, my store has a few to exchange.
Absolutely! Having some ventilation is nice if you're cooking at high heat or for long periods of time. But, it's no different than using a gas range. I cook on mine indoors several times a week and have never had any issues.
Too bad this deal is now dead, it was a fantastic price. I have the 22" griddle already, but I paid $99 without cover or stand. I also have the 36". I looked at the 17", but it only has 1 burner and a thinner cooking surface. The 22" is a bit heavier yet offers significantly more heat output and more even heating due to the thicker steel. It can actually get a bit too hot at times, even on low heat, so I always have a squirt bottle of water handy to cool it down if needed.
Ordered mine online and had it shipped. Arrived today and assembly was easy. Unfortunately the griddle itself was warped from corner to opposite corner. I made sure the stand itself is level. Emailed Blackstone support to see what they will do before returning it.
interesting, imma have to open mine and inspect this. i have no use for this one in the mean time. so i should inspect before storing.

I wouldn't do that too much. That's how you warp the flat top.
Received one of the two I ordered. Box looked ok, opened it up, new unit (not a return). The left rear corner of the grill box is dented and that is due to zero padding at the bottom of the box. There is padding all along the sides.
Removed the grill surface to look at the burners and they appear ok though there is a whitish substance on some of the piping.
I may have missed this in the product description - each side has its own igniter.

What's for supper? Got my shipping confirmation this morning.
Mine had the regulator attached to the bottom of the "burner" box with metal brackets. I jiggled the regulator free but the shiny metal bracket is now still fixed (looks riveted) to the inside. Is that bracket supposed to remain where it is?

TIA.
Yes, it's used to store the regulator when transporting the stove.

Do what too much, cook on high heat? I've done it literally hundreds of times on the 36" and a few dozen on the 22" with no discernible warpage to either cooktop. The instructions for seasoning say to run all burners on high until stuff stops smoking. I appreciate the concern but I see no risk of warping the griddle by cooking on high.

Hes talking about adding water to a pan on high heat.
Just got it and used it to cook a Ribeye cap steak. It did a great job. Seasoned it with vegetable oil. Only criticism is I felt low is still not low enough and it still kept searing the steak almost to a char, but still came out great.
