Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I currently still on Sprint BYOD free plan , which will expire by the end of next month, If I want to take this deal and still keep my current phone numbers, what is the cheapest carrier I can port out and then port back with this deal. I have 4 lines with Sprint. A big thanks.

Can I use the sim I ordered on Amazon to get $300 or does it still earn $100?

Did anyone try combining this offer with cash back sites and credit union ewards?

my point is if this is stackable with Sprint refer, cash back sites or union rewards

Data point- just this week, I left Sprint 1-Year Free BYOD (my third go-around with them!) for Mint (had the 3 month free Super Bowl special offer). Did it for a few days, and I am very sad to say it does not work for me. I lose signal inside the building where I work. So, even though it's free (for three months), not going to work. So I saw this, went thru the hassle of getting Mint to get me my account number (you have to call and get it ... you can't find it anywhere on your online account).
Initially, I was lined up to swap 5 lines over, in the hopes of getting $300 gift card/line, for a total of $1500. Wasn't sure, so I went around and around with a chat agent, who told me that it is only 1 ($300) gift card *per account* not per line. ***MAJOR DISCLAIMER*** Having experience almost 3 years of dealing with Sprint reps, I can vouch for the fact that you cannot accept everything a Sprint rep tells you on the phone or via chat. But I went back and forth with this rep, trying to be sure, and she wouldn't budge off this statement:
"Megan: If you bring your own device or purchase a phone in full price today, you can get a $300 Prepaid MasterCard no matter how how many numbers you port in." (and that was in context of me repeatedly asking if it was 1 card/account or one card per qualifying line transferred in).
Once again, ***MAJOR DISCLAIMER*** This is Sprint. Some people are able to get things to work that others cannot. I know that with swapping devices, adding free BYOD lines, paying off the Essential Phones (an awesome deal from back in the day), sometimes things change from one rep to another, and it truly can depend on who you get. But as a data point, I was repeatedly told that it was only 1 card per account. Which means I will be opening 2 separate accounts, so that I can get 1 card for each line that I will be transferring in. A pain to be sure, but I trust it will be worth it. Not sure that it will be worth doing 5 lines, as I had initially planned to do (we only use 2 lines, I don't *need* 5 lines, was just seeing $$ signs), what with using different addresses and credit cards to try to ensure they don't cancel the $300 reward cards because of some legal jargon (one per household, etc). Again, I don't know, some may be able to pull off 5 gifts on 1 account, but this is one man's experience that I will share in the hopes that it will move the conversation forward. If someone else can show I'm wrong, I'll gladly update my post. Good luck everyone! (on a side note, I *cannot believe* I just signed on with Sprint as an actual post-paid customer, non Free BYOD division-- never say never!)

Cost of device and sim cards? Is there a deal to get cheap flip phones that will work for this?
Do you even need multiple phones (assuming you don't actually plan on using the lines)? Assuming you can do up to 5, couldn't you just do each line 1 at a time and use the same phone? It is the number being ported over that controls not the actual device itself isn't it?

For sprint you cannot add a device already active on the network. That phone needs to be deactivated by swapping to another phone first.

Nothing to lose, filled out the information with a line just added today (nice timing) with Best Buy's variation of Kickstart. May get denied given one of the FAQs on that rewards site is "I received a message that my reward was not purchased from a qualifying location.", but can't hurt to try Wink

More than likely not, since one will more than likely appear as a duplicate of the other on their system... but if you feel risky, go for it.

I can't see why cashback sites would be excluded unless directly excluded at the cash back website itself.. unsure about the other two.

So activate, remove phone, rinse repeat?
