Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Two ZTE Max XLs were locked after I did the config update. I called in today. Got connected to the Tech support dept. Since these devices were already unlocked from last year...the database shows unlocked from their end, but UICC tells me otherwise. The tech support was a newbie and was just giving me MSL code, which is just to enter the programming menu and not carrier unlock. She transferred me to another dept (Acct Services). The guy knew what I was talking about and instantly unlocked both the devices. Now the UICC shows unlock for any SIM.
Samsung Galaxy J7 shows it is unlocked based on UICC.
Moto E6 I haven't played with so not sure how to check UICC stuff. But since that is factory unlocked, I don't think Sprint can lock it.
Maybe there is a system bug that relocks some of these devices during profile update.
