Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

my free sprint plan expires in two weeks. I will be switching to Visible for $25 month.
Why can't mint for 20. Any advantage over mint? Or just preference. Thanks

One qq. I tried to see about visible. Of I switch to them I get $100 for BYOD. How fast they will activate. It could vary case by case. Or you think port to Google voice and come to Sprint.🤔🤔

I don't know where you saw that sim card is $0. I brought in BYOD that was never used on Sprint, so had to buy a SIM.
at checkout mine was $0.

They said the GC would be sent after 120-150 days. Have you passed that point?

Doesn't count since you are already a customer. The question regarding the "free" SIM is from those who aren't already a customer

How long until you guys see your TCB $80 on your dashboard? Signed up last night with a click through and still nothing in my dashboard.

I see pending for $50 Sprint ref and $15/$5 TCB ref as well as the rebate for $300 is pending from Sprint.

Initially I thought the 1st account got screwed up because I swapped a phone that was still under lease from a different account.

I signed up for a 2nd kickstart, got same error after I tried adding more lines.

Chat csr had no clue either

So I would luv to do this promotion but here are my circumstances:
Currently with Sprint
2 out of contract iPhone 8's
I assume they are unlocked
A significant other willing to open an account in their name
What should I do?

First, you will need to port out to non-sprint carrier. Then your spouse can open a new account and port in and follow the steps.

You can use the following Xfinity link to check if your phone is unlocked (Sprint IMEI check won't work since you are already on Sprint, I think).

Thank you. I'll check. Any suggestions on low cost carrier to port out to?
