Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

"How can" as in "how's it done?" or "who gave them the right to do it?".
As in how does sprint lock unlocked devices that come unlocked as in from apple or Samsung or whoever

Sorry, forgot to dumb it down for you with pictures, copied directly from Sprint website.

Yes, received pre owned iPhone X last week. It's almost brand condition with no scratches or dings. Came in random box with charger. Also had screen protector installed on it. There were some dust particles stuck on the edges and I used air dust spray and wipes to get those out.

A carrier can send out codes over-the-air (OTA) to lock/unlock a phone. I read posts in this thread that someone had their phones "re"locked by Sprint, which sounds like they were previously unlocked BY SPRINT (not the manufacturer) and now got "re"locked. I ported in my factory unlocked Visible Moto E6 on 3/14/20, and as of today it remains unlocked.

I bought a pre-owned LG Tribute Empire for $49 on Friday and received it today. Looks "like new" to me, no marks on the screen or plastic back. It comes with a 90-day warranty.

I am currently using iphone XS on TING and planning to port over to sprint. When I used the device checker, I am getting "This phone has already been activated for Sprint service." message. This phone was initially purchased from Xfinity and then ported over to TING. Would this cause any issue with port or the promotion? Also, I was using Sprint 1 year free promotion an year ago and I can still login to my sprint account. But when I click on this offer, it lands on the offer and then quickly redirects to the page with error "Account Closed. Unfortunately, we can't complete your order at this time......". So do I have to create new account with different email address/user name? In that case, would it be OK to have both accounts same phone numbers?

Thank you very much.

You might have sprint network on Ting and hence, the message you are receiving.

When you entered Visible account number for porting to Sprint, did you enter the leading initial zeros?

Visible website shows my account number as 000100XXXXXX. Did the account number that Visible customer service gave you start with 0 or 1?

Currently with Sprint free BYOD expiring end of April. What is the best carrier I could port out and then back into Sprint for this promo?

Use this TracFone/Total Wireless/Simple Mobile/NET10 offer for porting, which will be a modest money-maker—if you value Amazon GC as equivalent to cash.

The two Visibile account numbers that I had all started with 000. I gave Sprint the entire 12-digit number.
