Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Does anyone know if there's a way to activate a Sprint phone thats so old it doesnt have an ICCID? I want to swap my phones with placeholders on my BYOD Sprint account and then start new lines with Blue Beat Digital and then port to Sprint. I'm fine with new phone numbers. If this is not possible then I can port to BBD and back but I read a comment in this thread that using a number that was recently active on Sprint may invalidate the $300 rebate.

only way to find out is to put in the IMEID.

it probably won't work. I tried to put in a Sanyo SCP-2700, it it was asking for an ICCID, but the phone doesn't have a sim card.

Use this TracFone/Total Wireless/Simple Mobile/NET10 offer for porting, which will be a modest money-maker—if you value Amazon GC as equivalent to cash.
deal expired?

Update: just check Amazon site and it's still active. No sure why the thread got marked as expired by SD. But the prime delivery date is 4/21 which will be out of promotion window.

Does anybody know how much is the Kickstarter plan with taxes and fees. I am doing a calculation as follows
Total cost for 12 months = 12 x 35 = 420
Activation = 30
Less return on gift card = 300
Net cost of one year of service = 150
My first bill shows $45.19.

40 unlimited kickstart
-5 autopay discount
3.89 surcharges
6.30 government taxes and fees

This is in Chicago.

Get the MSL code first if you don't have it already. This way you can access the programming menu.

Call the Account Services team or Tech Support dept and tell them you have old CDMA phone...just ESN/MEID info....google on how to enter the programming menu for your device...it may be standard ...this will require MSL code...manually update the phone number in your device...

Here is just an example....your device may have different input keys

This is for Sanyo Vero

##MSL (where MSL is your six-digit MSL code)

I just did this a month ago...so it is fresh in my mind...

I unlocked all my phones from T-Mobile but haven't actually checked my parents phones with an actual SIM card. If the sprint Imei checker says its good to go with sprint does this confirm that they are unlocked?

I signed up for 4 Kickstarter lines because I thought that was the least expensive option. I ported in and activated my phones about a week ago. I now see that the Unlimited Basic is less expensive for four lines ($100 vs $140). Does anyone know if the unlimited basic qualifies for the promotion in the OP? If I switch over to that, will Sprint pro-rate the bill for 1 week?
I think I read somewhere that the Unlimited Basic plan pricing is only until 4/30. At that point, if the Kickstarter is cheaper, can I just switch back to Kickerstarter?

This is exceptional deal. I have iPhone 11 from Costco promo 12/2019. It's qualified to unlock. Try to reach T-Mobile and spent hours on hold. Left call back number multiple times and turn out nothing. Does anyone have the same experience? I learn the lesson that it's never too early to unlock your phone

I got 2 phones from the same deal. Did the unlock and ported over to Sprint. My T-mobile account is now canceled. Did you try chatting with them online to get it unlocked? Try twitter or facebook as well, if online chat does not work. It takes 48 hours for the unlock to be processed after they initiate your unlock request.

Might as well go for the Unlimited Plus. I signed up with 5 lines and it's $100! Same price as Unlimited Basic.

I don't know that if you can change. If you have extra phones, signup for Unlimited Plus.

I already have sprint - what is the best way to go about doing this promo if i want to port out and then port in to take advantage of this offer?

I think you have to be at least 45 days without sprint service to use the same phone numbers.

You would have to get all new number, port the existing number to google voice, and use it that way til you get the rebate.
