Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If there is a discount added, how much will it cost for 5lines premium plan? And is it possible to port 5 lines together to avoid that error and take advantage of lower plan lower cost , like basic plan or cheaper plan?
Best Plan for 5 line is Unlimited Plus, $100, Premium I think is $150.

Why go for basic, it's $100, the same as Unlimited Plus.

Best way to do it is to port 5 lines to together. I haven't tried separate porting with Unlimited Plus

I created an account on 3/20 and entered a visible phone number to be ported. I did not receive the Sprint sim card or activate the account until yesterday, 3/24. The visible account was suspended on 3/20. I went through the activation and received an email notification indicating account is activated, but unable to make calls. To resolve the issue, should the visible account be reactivated? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

what does https://sprint.com/check-port-status say?

if you can't port because visible is suspended, your best might be to port a number from google voice, $3 to unlock

So if I want two lines I will have to open two accounts (to get $600 cashback) which will result in 2 credit pulls on my FICO?

I asked two different Sprint corporate sales employees as well as the rep at the local Sprint store I spoke to. All three said the same thing--you can get the promo w/ different accounts but not with different lines tied to the same acct. The chat bot said the same thing but I didn't trust it so I asked 3 different employees.
From what i've read, a credit checked(CC) account is separate from a no credit check(NCC) account. Though i personally have not done it......yet.

I had to call a local Sprint store employee to get the full details on this plan. I've never used Sprint and don't know anyone who has so I'm a bit leery based on their reputation for poor cell and customer support. Can't speak to the cell plan service yet as I'm not quite signed all the way up but the customer service is a nightmare. I got better information and service by dealing with the local store.

This promo ends on 4/9/20, as stated. Once signed up you must submit your rebate for the $300 card by 5/10/20, also as stated.

Other details:
-You can only get 1 $300 rebate per ACCOUNT.

-You can have more than 1 ACCOUNT per address. So if you have a roommate or relative w/ the same address you both can get the $300 card if you have separate accounts. You can't share accounts and both get the $300 rebate. Only one of you would get the $300 if you choose to share an account w/ someone.

-This is a BYOD plan and therefore your phone should not be locked onto Sprint as you did not source the phone from them. The person I spoke to said he's worked for Sprint for years and he's never heard of a BYOD device being locked to Sprint.

-The link above gave me considerable issues ordering. The process stalled at the credit check. I believe my credit reports are now locked because of the Experian data breach and I didn't remember before trying to use the self-service site at the link above to order. Their system first tried to get their chat bot to verify me and she got confused. I ended up calling the number the credit error gave me and that individual was offshore and couldn't understand I was not calling to activate service but because of a credit check error. I ended up being transferred to a corporate sales rep who created an account for me, waived the credit check, and approved me for 5 lines of service. He then ordered the Sim card for me. He's supposed to call me back when it arrives to sign me up for the plan & activate the account. He assured me that even though I didn't go through the self-service system I could still get the promo. We'll see.

-I've been given 3 different time frames to receive the rebate card. The employee at the store says it usually takes 60 days, however, the official literature says 13-15 weeks, and I've also been told 90 days by the chat BOT. So, to be on the safe side expect 90 days. The terms and conditions say you must maintain on-time payments, in full and an active phone line for the full 90 days to get the card so I'm setting up autopay to make sure there aren't any interruptions in service where they can try to deny the $300 rebate.

-The Kickstarter BYOD plan is $40/month with a $5 discount for autopay bringing the total to $35/month + taxes and fees. They're waiving the $35 activation fee via the self-service site or via phone.

-The Kickstarter plan is unlimited Talk, Tex, and Data. They do not throttle data after you use so many gigabytes like other carriers. Instead they prioritize your data when you are in the proximity of other Sprint users. Those users who have used the least data are given priority on the network. I was given the example that if I use 50GB and some other Sprint user I'm near has only used 10 GB then they are given priority on the network but this should only be noticeable if you are in a very densely populated area or crowded stadium, etc. Don't know how true that is.

Hope these little extra bits of info will help someone else like me who has never dealt with Sprint before and don't quite know how they operate.
Stop confusing people about 1 x $300 per account, most store reps are usless:

"Details: Offer ends 4/9/20. Activ. Fee: Up to $30/line. Credit approval req. $300 Prepaid Card Offer: Requires BYOD or phone purchased at full SRP. Max 5 per account"

That is from the terms/conditions from the original post!!

Right. That's my concern. I asked the corporate sales rep and he said it doesn't matter. He has the authority to wave the credit check because it wasn't going through. I'm going to check with the rep at the local store I spoke to yesterday to be sure.

Is Megan a bot? I said I need to to talk to a human and she replies she is a human
LMAO. Yes. Megan is a bot and a liar. lol. I did the same thing. So, I asked Megan for her supervisor. Megan told me she needed to call her sup. She put me on hold. Megan's sup connected and her name was....Megan. I asked one of the corporate sales rep about her and they said she is a bot for sure. Plus she's ALWAYS there. 24/7. lol.

I believe so. After you activate a sim card, you will get an account number. Your PIN is automatically assigned as the last 4 digits of of your phone number. All is visible in the my accounts page.
I received my order of 5 BBD sims yesterday and I was trying to create accounts but unfortunately they will not accept any of my old phones so now I dont know what to do. I still have the IMEI of a Pixel 3a I sold a while back that BBD will accept but I didnt go any further than checking it if will work. I'm not sure if Verizon/BBD would actually try to do anything to the Pixel, like try to activate it, or if nothing would happen until I put the sim in the phone.

You've already placed an order and need to setup online account?

best is to get your account number from chat or calling in.

Unlimited Plus is the same price as Unlimited Basic and you get hotspot. I just signed up for it, $100 for 5 lines.

My free BYOD is about to expire and I didn't care about the numbers. I ported numbers from Google Voice.
someone else here was a little worried that GV numbers wont work for the $300. Do you think they will?

Is this promotion 300/line or 300 per account. If we port in 5 lines to sprint, do we get 1500 or 300. Please confirm.

I was able to create an account using my sprint account number and not the phone number. The port status is showing pending and to call a specific number.
