Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I still have about a month and a half left with Mint, but I found a good deal on a Sprint-enabled phone, so I bought it. Can I get a temporary phone number for it and use it for the activation and port in? Then when my Mint service expires I can switch over my actual number to it?
can u share details on the phone deal?

So i just completed the Sprint $300 offer and the Credit Union offer too.
The Credit Union confirmation page says the registration has bee sent to Sprint for processing............in which case, is Sprint likely to deny one of them since they are processing both offers?
If so which offer is likely to get denied?

It's the Stylo 4+, which was a recently featured deal here on Slickdeals. I entered the EMEI and it allows me to progress far into the process. I just don't have a number I'd like to use (yet), so I'm wondering if it will work to get a temporary number. Or if it's just best to entirely switch over my service and end Mint early.

temporary number from where?

also, sprint , like every other carrier, may not work well in / for certain location.

before u jump into s and cancel mint, u should verify s will work for you.

if I have my own sim, I don't have to order from Sprint to get a new sim, as long as it is a port in, it still qualify for 300 rebate?

Yes, the main requirement is it's a new line being ported to Sprint.

If only the $300 Sprint or the $200 LCMU promo qualifies are you concerned we'll end up with the $300 being denied?
