Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Is the refurb iphone X for $300 a decent deal? Seems to go for the same price on ebay but its possible Sprint's refurbs are better than the used phones on ebay.

I have no real need for an iphone, just felt like trying one since I've been on android forever.

No, it is available somewhere in the account, found it while browsing all the options. After login, go to My Account > Preferences > All about my account info > Update account and you will see your account number in the pop-up window
I'm trying to follow your directions but I can't find my account number!

Did you have to pre buy the sim card, or does Sprint send you a sim after you placed your order?

Cheers
either way is fine. or if you have old Sprint SIM compatible with you phone, you can use that as well.

I finished reading the community wiki and still have questions. Appreciate if somebody can help a bit.

I am going to port in 4 lines and I already have the sim cards. At step 1 in the wiki, "Get your order number and passcode (from your order confirmation when you placed your order)", I assume this order number is the order when you purchase your sim card. In my case, I already have the sim card, where should I start?

Another question is, I should create a new online account then activate 4 sim cards in same order. Is that correct?

Thats what I did, got it yesterday. 89% battery health, front/back very good, sides have chips. So far so good on usage, just waiting for $300 gc and $50 referral gc. tcb already verified for $125.

So hopefully all goes well, pretty decent deal Wink

I don't know what to tell you. My wife received an email after completing her process, and I received an email as her referrer. I've also received emails for other referred people, one today. See screenshots below.

You'd still need to generate an order number so start at the BYOD IMEI checker. The next page will ask if you want to order a SIM or use your own. Select the second option and enter in the SIM ICC ID on the next page. Complete the remaining steps to add device to cart. Repeat for the other three devices and checkout. Once complete, you'll get your order number and can then follow the activation steps.

Also, I don't think it matters the order for activation or account creation. It may be easier to create an account after activation since you'll have an active Sprint number after port in. Otherwise, you'll need to ask a rep for your account number using your order number.

It will be on the up right corner of your packing slip, in that information box.
