Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I took physical. Taking it to walmart for 70 cent money order. Then run to bank, unless bank will take it first.

They usually change promos on Friday's. Most likely the 10th but I have no specific knowledge of the exact date.
Walmart MO still works for debit/prepaid gift cards? I thought they put a stop to it?

I know the online registration can be interpreted many different ways.

Online registration means going to the sprint.com/offers and register for the 300BYOD313 promo after activating your line. How that could be interpreted as "online order" is beyond me.

I haven't done it in a very long time. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Anyone use a prepaid debit card to get a money order at walmart lately?

Edit_ Here's another option: https://www.usps.com/shop/money-orders.htm

Yes. It already showed up in my account.

The 20GB hotspot has yet to show up on my Kickstart account.

The personal Hotspot on the iOS setting is beach balling constantly. It's asking me to call 888-211-4727 to set up hotspot.

I don't know about prepaid debit cards, but earlier this month I used my bank debit cards to buy money orders at Walmart and Dillons, $1000 each, without problems.

at my walmart it has become very difficult. There was one guy that would let me do it but no one else so I had to look if he was at CS every time I went.

"Take cash, a debit card, or a traveler's check. You cannot pay with a credit card."

Will the rebate gift card be considered a credit card?

This is a ridiculous requirement. Even if I get a new number from a provider there is no guarantee that number was not activated with sprint by another customer 10 years ago...my guess is they are trying to filter out the folks who leave and come back within a short period to take advantage of the offer.
your guess is right, is my guess. Smilie

No way they care if a number was on sprint years ago.

yes, but they've hardcoded it so prepaids won't work. Trust me on this. It's all over in flyertalk in the MS forum. it's been dead, maybe a yr for prepaids at USPS unless you have a unicorn.

In the past, I know you could also just buy an Amazon gift card in any amount which makes it easier to deal with the odd amount at the end of a pre-paid card. For example use the card for $272.28 in purchases at any combination of retailers and your balance is $27.72 At that point (or whenever) you could just go purchase an Amazon gift card for that exact amount ($27,72) and that makes it easier to deal with then doing a partial payment /split transaction on a small odd balance on a pre-paid card. HTH and I hope that is still the case. nod

A prepaid gift card is not a credit card. The fund is already loaded to the card. You can't buy a m.o. with a credit card because not only the card company charges the merchant a 2-3% fee but they can also reverse the charge if the card was stolen or not in good standing. By that time, the purchaser is long gone.
