Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Use a different email address.
To be extra safe, I'd also use a different credit card so that you can try to keep the accounts totally separate. Probably not necessary but I'd just be paranoid that they might try to merge them. Other people in this thread mentioned that they used a different credit card at sign up but then updated it to the same CC on both accounts later.
Oh to make the deal sweeter, you can also try referring yourself. Send a Sprint referral from your existing account to the new email address and make sure you register it before placing your new account order.

I see those phones were all initially sourced from Sprint. My crowd has always used non-carrier phones, which perhaps accounts for divergence in our experience.
