Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

it needs to be Unlimited Plus (also $100 for 5 lines) for LMCU, I guess we will all find out after 90 days if it will stack with the $300 per line.

Not sure if adding 3 lines to existing ones will work. good luck.
Yes, I did U+ for each since that was a requirement for LMCU.
I did register 1 of the account with LMCU but have held off the others for the moment as I am not sure what to do about that.
It's pretty much risk getting $400 instead of $600 worse case or getting $800 instead of $600 best case for my accounts with 2 lines. If I decide to regiser all of them with LMCU then I would not add anymore lines to these accounts for sure.

Do you still think the credit union will work? It says to go to the store when you sign up.
No idea if it will work unfortunately.
What do you mean "go to the store when you sign up"?

Curious - can you get the sprint referral promo ($50) AND CB via BF or TCB? Why are people going for TCB ($80) over BF ($125)? Thanks.
Ref, cashback, and $300 rebate will stack, no uncertainty about that.
I would not recommend TCB. Since beginning of this year, they have had issues with tracking fails and then resolving those fails. Previously, they were very reliable.

You must activate it within 10 days to start your Sprint service. This info was in your order confirmation email.
I meant the date of April 19th is not in print anywhere. It's deduced by adding 10 days to April 9th which is the last day to order.

can we port a number different than the one filled out during the phone line order? I used an expired Visible # for one of my lines. Don't know if it'll work.

What link?
You just have to enter your phone number from the LMCU Sprint site and then enter all the info....CU account, name etc.

I checked with the rep in a sprint store. She confirmed with her manager that the free lines (3-5) will also qualify for BYOD 300. We cannot take her word. Best thing might be to chat with a online rep and have screenshot of that if required later.

I'd try using the Visible number first. If that doesn't work, then contact Sprint Port Dept to use a different number. If you want to use a different number from what you filled out during ordering, you'll have to contact the Port Dept anyway, because what's on the form is what they will use.

do you really need to port to GV? will cost you $20 and it is voip. voip takes longer (possibly a few days) to port into your new carrier.
Porting out has to be done right ? What other cheap porting option can one use ?

I believe it will work as long as it is within 60 days of when it was expired.

Did you use chat or did you actually call them
