Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Previous Sprint customer, which is probably why I have a hangup. Is there any way to complete this online? With the stores closed not sure what my options are.
In the end to sort it put i had to spend a couple of hours on phone and also go to a open sprint corporate store 45 mins away.
With tele-sales its a hit or miss. If you get an over eager sales rep u are screwed. Also you will miss out on BF or T.cb cashback.

They are not asking your ssn for sprint acct.. They are asking ssn for the old carrier porting info as they assume its always required if u r porting from postpaid carrier... Typically they ask acct no, pin, ssn, name and address..
Its not scam..simple it is.. Just tell them u r porting from prepaid carrier so ssn can be skipped.
I also saw 300$ in the cart while checking out, when I am trying to register for 300$ on sprint promo page, it says invalid number.. so I went and check the number on the account and its a different number (was able to submit the rebate with that number).. but this is so strange... any suggestions?
Did you submit the rebate with the number you bought from ebay or the new number? Might have been better to wait since the rebate could be submitted (a few weeks) later.
