Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

There is no association between the port in number and the SIM. Totally separated when it ports.
I was with Sprint, on free year from Oct 2018 to Oct 2019 and just paid full price until Feb when we ported out 2 lines to Mint. Service was awful, so we went to Cricket/ATT but don't good coverage either. So we are switching back to Sprint either way for our 2 lines, 45 days is today.
So if we get mastercards for our two numbers, great, but I'm not assuming we will get it. So I want to try to get some $300 cards. Want to keep the $35/month plans.
Can we buy 2 of the $49 LG phones (Tribute i think?) on Sprint for overnight delivery on Tuesday, buy 2 cheap $10 phones from Target on Tracfone and do $20 plan, on which Target is offering a $30 Target card for activation. So net cost $0, and port those new numbers over to the 2 LG phones on Tuesday
Cost- $100 for the 2 Sprint phones, and $70x3 for 3-months of service on them = $310 to get $600 in gift cards in 3 months. That way if we get 4 $300 mastercards great, but if not we still get $600.
Do I need to have the phone number/account number/port info at the time I place my order on sprint tomorrow? If I do then I will go to Target first thing in the morning? Kinda wondering if it's worth all the time and trouble to hope to net a few hundred extra months away, and just consider myself lucky if our original phone numbers previously on sprint get the giftcards.
You dont need to have port info when placing the order if doing the 5 line orders but others have reported that port info is asked for if doing 1 line orders.
Go to settings and see if your ICCID matches what Sprint has. If it doesnt, you need a sim card. ICCID's cannot be written to a sim card by end users like us.

..I'm now just tempted to buy 5 of the cheapest pre-owned phones from Sprint on the Unlimited Plus plan along with the BF $125 per phone CB. I wasn't following all the details on going that route ... so a few questions:
a.) Sprint's pre-owned phones do not include phone numbers correct? I'll still need to buy 5 phone numbers (for ex. ATT on eBay) to port the phones in with?
b.) Can purchase of 5 pre-owned phones and Unlimited Plus be done reliably with the No Credit Check option?
c.) Alternately, anyone know which credit reporting agency Sprint uses? I don't foresee a problem if I need to go with the credit check route, however I'd have to put in a request for the credit reporting agencies to unfreeze my reports, which may take additional time, which is running out.
d.) Is there any way to use my Moto G7 on any of the newly registered 5 line Unlimited Plus accounts? Can I swap out one of the cheap LG Empire/Tribute (or whatever) phones after the service is up and running, or do those phones need to used for the full 90 days to qualify for the promo?
Thanks again deal meisters!
Either port to GV, or port to a cheap prepaid carrier that isnt a Sprint MVNO, or maybe park your number at number barn.
When was the last time you tried?

I activated two G7 phones with no issue. But it was using new sims from Sprint. I might ask that question in a chat session with Sprint.
