Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Anyone figure out to stack with this offer https://slickdeals.net/f/13891268-sprint-new-line-acct-128gb-samsung-galaxy-s20-s20-s20-ultra-5g-phone-1000-off-via-24-mo-credit-act-req-d?page=26#commentsBox

using the sprint processing delay of ordered sims. The potential port in number still shows on order summary with byod but the line doesn't show up in the dashboard until the sim arrives and is activated

I don't see how that will work.

You need to buy the device outright (no lease payments) to get the $300.

i bought devices with my order. why did sprint charge me 15.3% "sales tax and fees" when ny tax is supposed to be 8.875%?
I'm in NYC and I also noticed the estimated taxes and fees charged are excessive of NYC sales tax. After completing the purchase the taxes and fees remained:

$245 = x5 LG Tribute Empire Pre-Owned phones at $49/each
$37.50 = 15.3% Total taxes and fees
$282.50 = Total Bill

$21.74 = NYC sales tax @ 8.875% on $245 purchase.
$15.76 = mysterious unexplained taxes and/or fees [6.425% of purchase amount]

make sure to search no credit check when you at sprint.com, then get it done one time.

Maybe NY has some extra taxes/fees for phones?

I'm in MI and was charged the correct tax for 2 preowned LG Tribute Empires, $5.88 (6% of $98)

edit, I did a search on google, and found:

Thanks for the info, I saw a lot of people received emails after rebate submission, this is why I worry about it.

Does anyone have a clear directive regarding Sprint's policy on changing a device and number after the account is activated?
I bought 5 pre-owned LG Tribute Empire pre-owned phones from Sprint and am transferring ebay ATT numbers. Waiting to take receipt of phones, complete port-in and activation.

A friend has an unlocked iPhone with an IMEI that's compatible with this offer. After all my LG phones are ported and activated, if he gets a Sprint SIM can I replace one of the LG phones with his iPhone & number, without jeopardizing any of the promo terms and the $300?

I'm not sure of NYS/NYC taxes on wireless, however during my years of Sprint's Free BYOD I was only charged $4.85/month.
Besides, my purchase today didn't include payment for a wireless service. I wasn't charged for Sprint's wireless services but only for the pre-owned phones I bought.

when you do the byod you bring a device or buy one outright however there is a sprint processing delay which can be capitalized on in the meantime by the time they ship their SIM card to you and by the time the line shows up in the dashboard. However the order summary shows your byod portin number
