Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

How do I close a line after 3 months? Port out or you can just close and lose the number?

Some people made things over-complicated to maximize the profit (porting out, GV, buy numbers, buy phones along with their own BYOD, add lines, change orders, etc), it's their own doing. I created two accounts, with 3 lines total, most were completed online. Had to call in for line 3, but it wasn't bad.
true. they trying to milk the deal, ends up going sour for some. too many finagling.

I don't see the $300 BYOD in the shopping cart. Previously an SDer let me know that I need to use Incognito/Edge. But as soon as I login to my sprint account, the $300 BYOD line disappears from the shopping cart.

it will be there when you try to check out. sprint site has some glitch issues.

Same thing happened to me and I dont see it during check out. I didnt want to chance it so I create a new account with no credit check and it stayed til the confirmation page.

I had the exact opposite experience. It was easy to order, quick shipping, easy to activate, painless rebates.

just dont get off the beaten path, thats when you run into problems.

Like when you sell a phone and somehow your buyer reskus the phone to prepaid without meaning to, he was trying to sign up with sprint, and then u spend the next 5 days working your way up the IT management ladder at Sprint in an effort to fix it, all the while they keep telling me that the phone is prepaid and there's nothing they can do, even though I show them the receipts, show them its an Essential phone that was never sold under their prepaid brands, was never activated on their prepaid brands.... Sigh

yeah i know...i was just kidding with my "same carrier" response...but exactly right, the less finagling the smoother the transaction. but at times there will always be obstacles.

They tend to do bulk 'purges' but will sometimes monitor the thread and execute immediately.
Better not to publicly ask or give referrals or 'promote' the idea.

Just ask Desi...

H20 $1 sim cards will be your good friend. i suggest stacking them now especially if you have multiple lines to port out of S.

Yes, you'll get a "friendly warning" from a mod if your post broke the rule and a mod saw it. I'm speaking from personal experience.
