Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

H20 wireless $1 sim cards will be your good friend. i suggest stacking them now especially if you have multiple lines to port out of S.
good plan, I was thinking the same for the account I opened in MIL name. Smilie

Is porting out always better/easier than closing an account by calling/chatting? I assume we cant close through chat though.

Yes, you'll get a "friendly warning" from a mod if your post broke the rule and a mod saw it. I'm speaking from personal experience.
do PMs for stacking break the rules?

porting out is always better. calling and chatting they always try to retain you and can take up to a hour last time i tried with sprint. They keep transfer me and offer me better and better deals when I try to leave the Free BYOD. Then free mint came along and I port it out and account close in minutes.

porting out is the most preferred method because there is no human interaction. less human interaction results in lesser chances your account, SSN or whatever gets noticed and flagged by the carrier. if you stay under the radar, better chances for you to do a deal again next time a good one comes up.Smilie

chatting will let you but you have to wait until billing cycle.

I think it's best to just port out to be 100% sure.

He has started his activation process already that's why you're choosing the "finish activation"? Have you tried starting from scratch, do the whole process, start from the beginning and choose activate instead of finish activation.
Hey Genghis, order was placed with the imei and iccid. Next step is create the account profile, give porting details and activate the lines... Do not have the account number yet.

When I was given a warning recently, it was for breaking one of the https://slickdeals.net/corp/acceptable-use.html .That was for saying "I sent you a link" and the reason was "Hello, your post has been removed. Offering or requesting a referral is not allowed.".

is this the correct sim? https://www.amazon.com/h2o-Smart-...013OUS19E/

Total Wireless is the same price, would it be a good idea to spread around the love, I mean ports?

A recent post from a mod said "no referral allowed in the forum or PMs", which implied a mod can read PMs. I haven't checked to see of the forum agreement allows that. I know for sure that certain link sent by PM got blocked/altered by the forum software.
