So if one either signs up for BYOD today and/or orders a SIM kit, and the SIM doesn't arrive by the 9th, one is screwed?

no, it's your order date not port date. You will be fine. You have until beginning of May to claim the $300. Amazon probably wont make it since you need the sims to place order or order from sprint during the process.

I am a current sprint user and trying to add a line (port it from tmobile). Will the new line be eligible for the $300? Or is it better to add another line just as a new customer without linking it to my current account?

Can you expand More in MOs? How do they work?
The Visa gc sold by Staples can be used to buy a MO at Walmart.

When you pay, select debit. PIN default is last four numbers of the card.

I buy $800 MO using four $200 VGCs, and pay $0.88 fee in cash.

I never had Tmobile, so that's why I don't have any experience with it.I believe the rebates for these are Metabank, usually they don't allow cash out.
Quote from larciel :
they have option to ACH out to your bank.
and I heard some banks allow cash to be withdrawn from the ATM card. Teller has to manually do it.
Quote from YamahaRick :
The TMo offer from late last year only offered a virtual card. I had four cards (four lines). I could only cash out two, as it only allowed a single card per bank routing number.
Like Swammer says, these are MetaBank, not the more flexible Wirecard used by Tmobile. There is no ach to bank option.
Can someone, who has actually done a teller cashout, share which bank/s?

Say wha??

If you need the SIM to place the order, that means you can;t place the order without the SIM.
If one orders the SIM kit from Sprint today (according to what you said one can't place the order for service until the SIM is in hand) and since it's after 1:00 PM if it ships out on Wednesday the 8th ... if SIM delivery is in any way delayed (and people are reporting delays) and doesn't arrive in one day then the Kickstarter order cannot be placed before the 9th deadline.

How to assure the SIM arrives by the 9th and that the Kickstarter order is placed in time to receive the promo?

I've chatted with at least 5 reps and they all confirmed add a line works. so did many other in this thread that chatted and confirmed it. I personally created new account, but if you are going the new line route then save a few chat scripts to fight later. also make sure then double make sure then triple make sure they note it on your account.

ok let me rephrase it better.

You just need to place order before the end of 4/9. You can place an order either with sims in your hands (from amazon) or order them directly from Sprint during the IMEI verification process. You can receive the sims from SPRINT directly after 4/9 and port after 4/9.

Has anyone faced below scenario: I have tried to place order online and selected $300 prepaid Master-card BYOD promotion. At checkout page, I was able to see this promotion but as soon as I have signed into account, can't see this promotion anymore. Had a chat with Sprint representative and they mentioned that it would be Ok to place an order and eligible for promotion until you are porting you number.

Hence, I placed an order and email confirmation which I have received does not mention anything related to $300 Master card promotion. Wanted to check with this group "Would I still be eligible for this promotion"?

Yes, I will. Question is whether I would be eligible or not since I haven't received this promotion in my confirmation email.

I want to buy 5 ebay number for port , but hesitated , because I haven't been able to complete the order due to some glitches or flag on me on Sprint system, so in the end I may waste $20 for buying the numbers from Ebay. If I create some google voice numbers to use for porting , do I have to first pay to unlock the number in order to do porting or I can pay after Sprint order completed? Thanks.
It should not be a problem to give still-locked GV numbers when placing Sprint order for five lines/phones.

You may remember that for five lines/phones the porting process does not begin till Sprint porting dept contacts you or you contact them. That is the point before which you must unlock them.
