Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Did you do portal for all?

I'm paricularly interested in #1 if it will track.
No. #1 at Bestbuy. Remaining all are through portal and reflected within 60 minutes.

So.. I have a Sanyo Taho by Kyocera. It is a sprint phone. Sprint BYOD accepts the IMEI but it wants me to enter the sim card number to add a line. It does not give an option to order sim card from sprint directly. Any idea how to find that? It is a old flip phone and does not really need a sim Big Grin

##25327# is asking for access code which I dont know what it is

If I do 2 5line accounts using the same befr account (same name, different address, 1 with credit check 1 without), is there any issue likely to happen on the cashback side? Also the sprint side, but less of a consideration.

##25327#? Is that to get the ICCID (sim number)?
##25327# is carrier reset.

you can get iccid in iPhone:
Settings, General, About

android: (at least for my S9)
Settings, About phone, Status, Sim card status

or login to your account and try to change sim, it will display what your iccid is

Submitted the promo earlier today, didn't get a confirmation email, it's been an hour and I can't track using the tracking#s. Is there a number to call to confirm the submission was done?

On a side note, my tracking numbers are consecutive. Anyone with 3 to 5 lines can confirm for data point?

Quick question. So I used sprint free byod in 2019 with my number (lets say 123-4567). I won't be ineligible for this $300 mastercard offer if I sign up for this byod plan now with the same 123-4567 number (which I will port in from Mint mobile) right? I will like to keep my number instead of signing up for this with a GV number.

I am not sure if my case falls under this part on the Wiki Community Board:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Best practice if the numbers ported-in have not previously been on Sprint ever.
i. Sprint lines from 1yr free BYOD will most likely NOT work, not even with a POPI (port out, port in).

see screen shot below on wording that "previously activated number may be ineligible for the offer"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i confirmed multiple time with sprint, as long as it's over 45 days off sprint then it's fine. I have bunch of chat saved just in case.

I have few Kyocera Kona flip phones too. BYOD accepts the IMEI but needs sim card number. Which I dont have for it (and no way to put a sim card inside). No idea how to find ICCID

Sorry. I meant except 1, all were through portal. 1.1,1.2, 2 and 3.

1.1, 2 & 3 - BYOD - 3*80 = $240
1.2 - New device - 1*125 = $125 Total $365.

I will find out next week. My visible payment was due early march so i'm attempting to port that number after a month. I have read someone in the thread was able to port out after the payment was due. Although i recall it was maybe few days.
Quick update for folks looking to port out from VIsible:
I was able to port out a number that's been suspended for over a month.
