Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Haha ppl on the sprint free 1 yr plan can submit rebate and get tracking number too. But the rebate will be rejected 90 days later when the rebate team starts verify info
csr chat said it is eligible, even though it doesn't show up in the cart. the problem is they current users don't get the deal for Unlimited Plus for $100. I think even for Basic. I forget now, I almost went that route, when I wanted another set of lines.

Another address worked for me.

if you have a friend nearby, try using their address.

it worked for one of my accounts.
I don't think that's going to work. When I click on view cart there is a red banner at the top that says "The number of devices in your cart exceeds your line limit of 0. Please remove enough devices to get to your limit." If I remove all my phones-then there is nothing to port and no Sprint account will be created-typical Sprint grief...

were you able to create two accts with same address?

I didn't try my last address, but my home and PO box address already had 2 and I couldn't use those anymore. No matter which person I tried, I tried 4 different individuals, credit & no credit check, it wanted me to call.

I'm doing 5 lines and buying 5 pre-owned LG Empire Tributes in the hopes of getting the BF $$. I bought 5 AT&T numbers on ebay do do the port. That should qualify me for the $300.

I'm currently on a 1 Year Free BYOD plan, so my plan is to sell the LG Empire Tributes cheap, then move our real phones over to this new account in a week or two. I don't care about losing the old BYOD phone numbers because our real phone numbers are GV that forward.

Question: would switching the phones (IMEI/ICC) on the new "5 for $100" lines so that we have our old phones disqualify us from the $300 or the BF cb? I only see requirements that the lines be active and that we port numbers in. I don't see anything about making changes to the phones. Seems like it should work, right?
in your case , i wouldnt move the free plan numbers over to sprint
rather..move to h20 and let them die.

as for ur phones..i believe i read that most people feel u can swap device w/o affecting rebate..that is of course after u have moved the number over to h20 and the phone is now free and clear

is your march account a credit or no credit check? if it is credit check you can open a new account with no credit check.
It is no credit check account, I tried creating a credit check account and it did not go through. Tried no credit check as well, no luck. So thinking of adding extra lines to existing account as last option.

Probably a dumb question...

But if you order online, you port number and wait for sim card...

If you order over the phone, they HAVE TO send you sim card first... So... do i need to go to Sprint now? I wont get sim card till tomorrow 4/10.

It should not. But I'd definitely wait a few days after porting so all the systems are in sync.
