Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I ordered a phone on 4/9/20, received and activated it on 4/13/20, status showing "invalid activation date" on rebatesHQ.

As suggested by some people, I emailed [email protected] with documentation around midnight, received an acknowledgment email around 10 am, and someone from her team called around noon. She agreed that the offer is based on the purchase date, thought my submission should be fine, has dealt with one other case, will forward my information to promotions, and call me when she hears back from them.

yeah thats the same response I got, maybe you talked to the same person.
I spoke to someone named Jackie. She called back around 5 pm today. Although I had not asked her to examine my other three submissions, she said that the promotions department had approved all four of my submissions. I just need to complete the 90 days of active service. I'm impressed with the amazing customer service.

Have you checked the status of your rebates on Rebateshq after talking with Jackie? Did anything change? Is the Invalid Activation Date still there?

As of just a moment ago, the tracking results on rebatesHQ are unchanged; i.e., one still shows invalid activation date. I asked the rep if the tracking results on rebatesHQ would change. She said not to worry about them and that I was definitely approved.

I got the same info. She manually adjusted this months bill and said going forward it will be fixed. Also she said she contacted their promotions dept and they confirmed that my rebate submissions look good and I'll get the rebate as long as I keep my account open and paid. Said I can call/email her if for some reason I dont get the rebates. bounce

Did you also speak to Jackie? I am thinking of emailing again. Normal CSR from promotions dept said not to worry but I always worry.

What was your bill issue?

Glad to hear that Sprint is positively responding to many customers with adjustments to their accounts.

You seem to understand the payment policies of Sprint.
I have 5 lines of U+ w/autopay.

What do you mean by one-time payment? One time per billing cycle or one time per life of the account?
I'd prefer to keep the autopay discount (total = $25/mth) but make (as large an amount as possible) of my monthly payment via cash in person at the Sprint store. Is that doable on a monthly basis and still receive the autopay discount? For ex. if the bill total is $135 can I pay $100-$125 in cash each month and have the small remaining balance completed with autopay?
Or are you referring to making only one monthly payment (say for $125) for the duration of the account as long as it remains in the autopay program?
Please advise. Thanks a bunch!!

you can initiate a payment on the website using any credit card before the payment is due. That's called a 1 time payment because you're paying one time for whatever amount you specify.

I'm sure you can also pay at sprint store. Why go to a store when you can use your credit card and earn points or cash back?

Swammer, that's not addressing the payment via cash ... which I prefer if possible.
(Additionally there's no financial benefit derived by any metric in using my cc with Sprint. If anything the opposite).

I believe @swammer explained the one-time already. I want to add to it is that one-time is not recurring. Yes, you can leave a small balance on account such as $1 to have sprint charge your auto pay cc on file. I meant to pay a one time payment manually to first month's bill when you want to switch payment method(in that person's case), you definitely need to make more payments for the duration of the account to meet 90 days requirement for rebate.

How Auto pay discount works?
As long as you have Cc on file with sprint and set it to auto pay, you will get the $5 discount per line, even your are not paying with this card. Sprint will charge your cc on file with auto pay ON automatically on due date when there is a balance due on account. If you already pay in advance with cash in store or other CC, and have zero balance on due date, your cc on file with auto pay ON will not be charged by sprint. you still get the discount as long as auto pay is on.
You can pay your monthly sprint bill of $135 3 times separately or a one time payment of $405($135x4) upfront in one store visit to cover 3 months of service(the 90 days active service requirement) and see if you need to stay with sprint for extra month for the rebate fulfillment period. If yes, then pay for the 4th month.
"Phone must be active for 90 days and remain in active and in good standing through the card fulfillment process." It seems to me that we still need to be with sprint when the rebate card is in the fulfillment period.

No, ppl can ask for receipt for making payment in store, either with cash or cc. This is similar to buying something in store. But paying with cc, you have no protection such as chargeback in case something goes wrong... but Marci and her team will cover us haha

Congrats to those who got helped and who were approved in advance for rebates. You may get your cards early. If this is delivered within the first 90 days, you may not need to stay with sprint for 4th month.
But keep this in mind, "Phone must be active for 90 days and remain in active and in good standing through the card fulfillment process."
Make payment on time to keep your account and lines active

Edit:
If you did Cb, keep your lines active until your are paid even if you get your card early
