Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

No, for some reasons you can't use the Sprint GCs at the gas pumps. You have to go into the station or to the booth.
Keeping track of balances isn't bad if you have all the cards loaded into your account at MyPrepaidCenter. See attachment.
I tried using my $50 referral card towards my T-Mobile bill.

When I first got the card I created a MyPrepaidCenter account and noticed that I could add a PIN to the card, so I did. It's possible that caused the problem.

T-Mobile rejected the payment (online, not via phone) saying that they don't accept that card.

So I had a $50 "pending" charge on the card. Well, normally pending charges disappear in a few days but this is day 9 and it's still there (zero balance on the card).

I see on the MyPrepaidCenter website:

(Note: Pending transactions cannot be disputed. Although most transactions settle within 10 days, you may need to allow up to 30 days for settlement or for the funds to be added back to the card.)

30 days? Whatta deal :-(

I also thought that maybe having set a PIN is causing some problem, so I tried to reset it. Unfortunately, you can't clear the PIN; you have to pick another number or cancel out.
These cards can be a PITA from what I see. Was debating whether to just keep all $300 GCs when they arrive and use them from time to time but I think I rather take a % loss and transfer directly to bank account. This may not work for everyone but for simplicity this works for me.

What app are you going to use to transfer to bank account?

+ on that

The cards are very hard to use and I've lost money on a TCB card once when I got frustrated after many attempts to use it and shoved the card in a drawer and forgot about it.

The card has a restriction that it can't be used for reoccurring payments aka monthly bills, so things like cable, phone, subscriptions are hit or miss.

That is IF you have an option to pay a fee to exchange directly to cash, but I think you don't. You can go the roundabout away of buying VISA GCs at Staples, then use it to buy M.O. at Walmart. I think you can add the card to your Paypal account, and pay a fee to send the cash to someone else.

As I've said before, I LOVE how the T-mo deal went, GCs were sent about 30 days after activation (with no drama, no error messages, etc), and easily converted to cash deposits to checking accounts.

You can use it to make an one time payment, just can't use it to set up auto pay or auto renewal because these cards are disposable prepaid gift cards

I then load these cards onto BB at Walmart.
From your experience, do you normally load Visa GCs onto BB just through the regular cashiers at Walmart? Or should it be done through the self-service terminals?

Nope. Gets rejected at some places. Stop guessing, I've tried, doesn't work.

This is not a guess. The card issuer(s) specifically states it in the terms and conditions, these MasterCard prepaid gift cards can be use anywhere where MasterCard is accepted. Except for recurring automatically charges(only one time transaction allowed) and gas pump(which you need to go inside the store and swipe it to use for gas refill)

It will reject the transaction if you are trying to pay a balance > the balance on the card and keep in mind some online merchants do $1 test charge... all the merchants will deny the payment even you go over by $0.01. Ask merchants to split payment and pay exactly the remaining balance that the card has for in store purchases.

Where are the places that you failed to use the cards?

Some have experience buying Visa GCs then buying MO to then transfer to bank. I use PayPal, pay fee and send cash to someone else.

You need to create account and make one order (can be anything, I Believe), and you'll be credited with enough points for a regular sub.
Thanks.

your service started on 3/31 but you got your rebate now, that's awesome. Congrats! Maybe everyone should call, otherwise we will have to pay the 4th bill.
