Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Is the new promo just for one free line or more than one free line? Thx.
Sounds to me like ONE free new line. Here's the link:

It clearly says 'credit approval required', meaning not for lines where credit was not checked, if people are still wondering.
There was a debate about whether "Credit approval required" means "Credit Check required". The account with Credit Check had a hard pull and no spending limit on Sprint expenses. The account with no-credit-check had a soft pull and a limit of $100 for Sprint expenses; in a way, it's still an approval.
FWIW, my line 1 that was denied is in a Credit Check account. I don't think it's a factor in all theses denials. Sprint has denied EVERY rebate claim and people had to fight for it.

Thanks. I have a headache from these promos. I need a break. But the greed always get the better of me. I did manage to resist with T-Mo and ATT deals. I didn't have time to manage 3 promos at once. It seems TMo promo was quite straight forward and easiest of the three.

The T-mo deal was easiest for me. Virtual GC sent on the 30th day from activation, and I cancelled after paying for 2 months of service.
The AT&T deal is looking to be easy also. The terms said to expect an email from AT&T 45 days after activation to claim the GCs. The AT&T Rebate Center site has a note telling people to contact them if not seeing the reward claim after 30 days, which is mainly for AT&T TV and Internet services. Some of us contacted them any way after 30 days (I did yesterday at 40 days) and the rep pre-approve the rewards without hassles. We just can't claim them until the 45th day. With 3-4 weeks to receive the GCs after claiming, looks like it'll require 3 months of service.
Sprint takes the longest to make the decision and is a real PITA.

Not good sign. Last week when I called first time, I asked for the status of two new lines and she mentioned that those are approved and also she said, you didn't submit promo for first line which was KS $25 plan and moved to U+. I knew this line was not eligible for $300 promo. But she manually submitted the promo. After 10 minutes, she called from Sprint normal CS number and said first line was not eligible for this promo because you received referral on this line. At that time, this statement was new to me and didn't give attention. But it looks like that is one of the condition for $300 promo.

If it is solid validation, many of us will be impacted. No Sprint.................Please release this validation.
So as far as i get it, this is one big mess. I should be looking at it bug time next month with real issues.

Expectation:
Those who activated on/before 4/9:
Will get automatically approval

Those who activated after 4/9:
Call in to get manual approval easily

Reality:

Sprint: everyone is equal, here you go the speedbump, call me at 8444507865

So far, Sprint denied every rebate by default

Even rebates w/o the missing is delinquent or invalid message will get denial on the 90th day....

(hpham_53, credit check account, only had speedbump no other messages, got denial on his 90th day

After calling many times they do not update and send out the gift cards, I am not going to keep my side of the bargain as well. Have my parents cancel autopay before the 4th payment is due and jump the ship to a different carrier. No credit check account so not going to hurt. I ain't got no time to deal with these crooks with no real customer service. My parents transferred 5 family numbers to stay with Sprint because they liked it during 1 year free service.

My supposedly no credit check line has a $500 spending limit. Dunno how can we check if our line is credit check or not. Can't ask the reps cuz they don't know better.

I think they're trying to keep people from fleeing by offering this new deal: keep your existing paying lines (opened before 6/17) and get an new line free. After the way they denied all the rebates, I don't think many people will stay.
Minimum plan to be eligible is the $65 unlimited basic if I'm not mistaken. If you get a free line voila it's $32.50 per line for 2 lines. Some of our plans are already that low, or much lower.

But it's good for other folks who qualify and take advantage of this promo.

While my 5 lines for $300 MCGCs are pending, I added 2 lines under this offer

Get $50 for each number you bring (up to 2). Select new and existing customers porting a new line of service are eligible for a $50 Prepaid Mastercard. (Valid 1/10/20-7/16/20)
But about 2 week afterwards saw this status

Your submissions is invalid due to the following reason.

your Sprint phone number does not qualify for this offer.
I ported in 2 lines one from a T-Mobile MVNO and one from a Sprint MVNO, expected 1 to get denied, but both got denied. Am I missing something?

See! Sprint was purposely holding to tell ppl's invalid status about the $300 rebate.

This offer is select customers only, specifically for "direct to consumer" customers

Edit: there was a DP demonstrated sprint gave out invalid status update within 30 days of activation for the $100 Amazon

So far only saw ppl successfully getting the $100 rebate without intervention.

Called on 6/14 due to invalid location on day 91.

On 6/15, received email regarding case being escalated with a case number.

On 6/17, invalid status on Sprint's site changed to
Status : Pending
Your registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within the next 10 business days.

Hope this helps.
What number did you call? I just got the invalid location today.

WTF, I received an email from promotions department:

Your account does not qualify for the Switch to Sprint, Bring your own
Phone and get a $300 Prepaid MasterCard promotion since you already took
advantage of the Referral Rewards Program which is not combinable with
this offer.

Please note that you can only participate in either one of the
promotions.

If that's an actual restriction, then it's not being applied uniformly. YamahaRick received both referral and $300 rewards (along with C.U. and Walgreens).

How many lines did you activate?

Why did you received this email? Is this the normal rebate status notification email regarding your tracking number? Or you emailed them or you called in for an escalation because you received "ineligible sales location"?
