Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I'm not sure if bombarding Sprint with numerous calls in a work day is going to help. That's not saying to not make an initial call to get it validated but all the follow up calls seem a little over the top. Give them some time to get the stuff updated and fixed on their end.

I know that I'm trusting that the phone call I had this last Sunday will resolve my $300 rebate issue. The CSR indicated that the rebate was validated and that tracking would be updated in 3-5 days and at that point the rebate would be processed and in the mail. I'm going to wait to contact them again until probably the middle/end of next week. I know my tracking info is still stating things are invalid but I'm going to give them the time they stated they needed to get it fixed prior to calling again.
Here's the biggest issue that I've run into with chatting or calling in to Sprint: the 1st rep that I speak to seems like they want to help but actually do nothing to resolve the problem other than putting a pile of notes on record.

Then when I call a few days/weeks later the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. rep does nothing but read the notes from the 1st rep and also does nothing to move the process along. So, I will continue to call and chat every 2-3 days until I get a rep that actually knows how to do their job.

I've already been paid for over 6 months of service with what I have received.
How many lines do you have? How much is your monthly bill? What have you received to cover over 6 months of service?

I've talked to 4 reps at Sprint Promo. They all used the word "Escalate" which means raising an issue to a higher level. The rep I talked to yesterday seemed to be willing to share info. So asked him if he has the authority to approve the claim, he said "No, I and my team mates can only correct/escalate the claims". When I asked where the escalated claims go, he said "they go to someone who can approve them". So, what we really need is to be able to reach the person with the final authority.

I don't know how much people value the T-mo Tuesdays perks, but starting next Tuesday Sprint customers will be eligible. Info at the link below, under "Got Questions?".

I call the promo department at 844-450-7865 and they insist I'm not eligible for the $300 because I was awarded a referral! uggh.

I asked for a supervisor, I don't know if that's going to do anything. Am reaching out to Marci.

nice, I'm guessing we have to register next tuesday? I tried my number and it doesn't recognize it as a tmobile number.

File complaint with FCC. Mine will be right behind yours, I assure you.

One is a long-running customer perk - the other a six-week incentive to pump up their subscriber base just before a questionable merger. I don't see how they can be equated as promotions that exclude one another.

It says "qualifying plans" under Sprint and the T&C does not specify which plans will qualify

Well this is getting annoying. RHQ status cleared off all error messages this afternoon so I thought I was in the clear after speaking to the rep.

Just received a bunch of automated emails today from Sprint (06/16) saying they received my rebate requests for all 5 lines, same tracking numbers as my initial rebate submission on 04/10.

Now the Sprint tracker says my rebates are INVALID because of the sales location error AND activated out of promo date. Bought 5 phones directly from Sprint website and ported over 2 numbers from T-mobile and 3 from GV.

Now I get to spend some time with them on the phone tomorrow. Great 😔.

For reference, I have not hit my 90 days yet. I that date is July 10
24 hours after this post, RHQ and Sprint tracker removed both errors and processed my rebate. I should be receiving them soon (within 7 business days according to the Sprint website).

For everyone receiving the invalid sales location error after your 90th day (whether you called Sprint promo dept or not), I would say give it another 24-48 hours and the status might clear. It might be an intermediate step before approval.

Here is the progression of my status on Sprint's website: Pending -> Invalid -> In Progress

Here is the progression of my status on RHQ: Scheduled for final processing -> invalid -> valid
I received a bunch of error messages along the way (missing is delinquent, invalid activation date, invalid sales location). After I called, the error messages were gone in 72 hours. 24 hours after it was cleared on RHQ, I received both invalid sales location AND out of activation period. 18 hours after the messages reappeared, the rebate was valid and in process, as the Sprint rep said they would be.

I only spoke to Sprint rep once on 06/12. So my advice is to just wait it out a little bit after the invalid sales location and the automated emails with the tracking number. It might just be an intermediate step

The rep I talked to yesterday afternoon also said to expect an email with a new tracking number. So far, nothing yet. I just checked on Sprint web site using the old tracking and then my phone number, still shows Invalid.
It seems we might be in similar situations? They didn't say I would be receiving an email and didn't provide any new tracking number. They did tell me I can check status with my phone number in 24-48 hours.

Did they say you will be receiving it via mail in 13 business days? That is what they told me so I am hoping I will receive it via mail within that timeframe. I did originally sign up for virtual reward but whatever, as long as I get it.

She just said that everything looked valid on her end and she went to go talk to someone and said we'll approve everything and the status should change on the website in 24-48 hrs (took about 72, but there was a Sunday inbetween).

I wasn't the referrer, I was the referee (referral?). In other words, I was referred by someone.

My line 1 was activated on 3/13, submitted 3/15, denied on 6/13. Two of the 4 reps I talked to which told me they would escalate the claim both gave July 1st as the target date to receive the $300 card. July 1st is the 13th business day from 6/13, when the final decision was made. I won't be sitting still waiting for the card to come on July 1st. I'll keep calling every other day until I see a status change. The card will NOT be sent until the status is changed from Invalid/Denied to Valid.
