Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Fingers crossed
I wasn't the referrer, I was the referee (referral?). In other words, I was referred by someone.

For everyone receiving the invalid sales location error after your 90th day (whether you called Sprint promo dept or not), I would say give it another 24-48 hours and the status might clear. It might be an intermediate step before approval.
Here is the progression of my status on Sprint's website: Pending -> Invalid -> In Progress
Here is the progression of my status on RHQ: Scheduled for final processing -> invalid -> valid
I received a bunch of error messages along the way (missing is delinquent, invalid activation date, invalid sales location). After I called, the error messages were gone in 72 hours. 24 hours after it was cleared on RHQ, I received both invalid sales location AND out of activation period. 18 hours after the messages reappeared, the rebate was valid and in process, as the Sprint rep said they would be.
I only spoke to Sprint rep once on 06/12. So my advice is to just wait it out a little bit after the invalid sales location and the automated emails with the tracking number. It might just be an intermediate step
