Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

This is brutal . Did you contact them ? Your estimated payable day is July 8th, so they reversed earlier ?
If it was reversed by merchant, I don't think I have much choice. Estimated payable was July 6. But for some odd reason, the original transaction date is showing as Jan 1, 1900. Maybe something wrong with the BF system. Let me try to contact them and see.

Was it shown as 1/1/1900 all the time or was it changed to 1900 recently?

Not sure. But I would say most likely it was Apr 7, 2020 before.
That odd date would have stood out if it indeed was 1/1/1900.

I have raised a support ticket with BF. Let me see if something comes out of it.

I don't think you need to worry about the date, 1/1/1900. Mine has been showing up like that since day 1. It just switched to Payable 2 days ago. It was "Verified Jun-21".

i imagine it'll still be a lot faster than making 5 orders from 5 browser sessions for 5 sim cards and then activating each one, just to avoid a 10 mins phone call LMAO
plus, new numbers are always available on ebay for $3-5 if there's another port-in deal somewhere.

the stated reason for cancellation can be as simple as "i don't need the lines anymore". the key during the call is to be insistent and assertive that you'd like to cancel. any hesitation on your part will make the agent ask different questions and make offers.

i used to let the retention reps ask questions, and the calls took a while. nowadays i just say i want to cancel, that's it, no making up excuses, and they end it pretty quickly once they're sure the customer's mind is made up.
If you are a 1 hit wonder, you can call etc etc, but if you want to be like some that are frequent fliers, ride the hop on hop off bus, better to go under the radar and not involve human interaction with your accounts. Lesser interactions meaning lesser notes on you and better chance of getting another deal down the road.

BF Cashback got reversed for me. I am seeing quite a number TCB cashbacks. I opted BF based on initial reports that BF shows up but TCB not. In hindsight, TCB might have been better
Having the same issue with Bfrugal but mine shows the green dollar bag on the shopping trip page (which is usually a good sign). However, the order amount and cashback amount are showing $0 .

I see that Sprint MNVO tello offers lines at $5.00/mom. Viable destination for port out?
Sure. Tello are a little slower with ports but it works. Use a referral link.and get $10 credit too. You can get something like us mobile for $2.50 though or a h20 sim for $1 or so.

i support flying under the radar. but sprint is no longer on this Earth with us. so in this case it'll just be a waste of money to port out instead of directly giving them the boot over the phone one last time.

Same here. When I placed my initial order, I had to contact urlhasbeenblocked to get my claim adjusted. Then it took Sprint over 2 months to tell them that the cashback is not coming.

But I do see some have gotten cb from bf. Are they from phone bought + number ported? Mine was just activating existing phones + SIM card with ported numbers

My 5 lines hit 90 days from rebate submission on Monday. Monday morning the Sprint reward center showed the invalid message on all 5 lines:

Invalid.
Your registration was denied because the sales location of the number you registered is not eligible for this offer.

I checked the Sprint reward center this morning after 48 hours and there was no change. I checked again after 54 hours and all 5 lines have changed to:

Status : Pending
Your registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within the next 10 business days.

The RebatsHQ.com site is also showing "Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing."

I had my doubts about the status changing without calling Sprint, but it did just like others posted.

First, an update on my $300 rebate.
  1. Had speedbump ... never contacted them to fix
  2. Changed to invalid for sales location around 6/12
  3. Contacted via phone on 6/14. CSR indicated that he had gotten supervisor to approve the rebate and to expect an update to the tracking in 3-5 business days and payment follow quickly. Gave me a confirmation # that it was approved.
  4. 6/23 the 7th business day following my phone conversation there was not update and the tracking still indicated invalid.
  5. 6/23 sent an email to sprintpromo with contact info, tracking info and the confirmation # from the previous phone call
  6. Today, 6/24 the tracking on Sprint and RebatesHQ have been updated and approved for final processing.
Assuming I get the $300, everything went as planned other than one of my referrals.
  1. $300 for the port in BYOD
  2. $100 for Amzn Sim
  3. $80 TCB cashback
  4. $50 for being referred
  5. $100 for (2) referrals
KS is $40 after taxes for me and I'll probably pay for the 4th month... so, $160 paid out with $630 coming in. Not bad.
