Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

When was your payable date?

What responses did you get after creating a ticket?
I got the same response you did, basically Sprint didnt pay and they are working on it.

There's no transparency so we dont know whats really going on.

You can pay a citi credit card bill with these debit cards?
This is news to me. Could you please explain more? I have a Costco Citi Visa and a Sears Citi mastercard.

You redeem BF cash back for Visa card -- your redemption code will be available next day usually then on the redemption website you can select virtual or physical

I think someone wrote earlier in thread H2O is one time use sims? Can you confirm? One number I know I will port to GV because I want to stash it long term so I dont mind the $20 but the other I am willing to burn, unless of course there is another deal to port it too in the next few weeks
Yes, I have used H2O SIMs in the past for porting out. I was not able to use the SIM more than once and it would say "This SIM has already been activated" if you try the second time.

For those who have received $300 BYOD MCGC, Has anyone tried cancelling services by calling Sprint?
I highly recommend not doing that. I did the previous promotion the end of last year for the $200 card. I actually needed a line for a family member. After a few months they just decided to go with Verizon for better coverage and get a new number anyway. It took me 3 months to cancel the line. I called every month and was assured that the line will be cancelled at the end of the billing cycle and they straight up ignored the request and kept it active.

At the third request I was assured that it will be canceled and they issued me a one month credit for the inconvenience. This time I actually received a confirmation e-mail for changes made to the account. Still it wasn't even close to being worth my time waiting on hold and being pressured into keeping the line each time. They even asked me to just give it to friends or family members.....

Hope others have better experience but I would definitely recommend porting out over cancelling.

What is the cheapest and easiest port-out recommendation? I would like to at least save one of my numbers. However I don't need to. Depends on the cost.
I have been porting it around since last year for free or close to no cost. From Freedompop to Boost to Visible, to TMobile to Sprint! (Not bragging... just would like a way to port and hold it for cheap as I cant find another promo to make use of.)

This is how I plan on liquidating my GCs when I receive them. I did a chat with Citi The other day, and the rep told me that as long as I could provide 16 digit card number, and expiration date, and a security code, that I could use them.
Try it now. It's dead for me, IIRC Citi blocks BINs of new sets of VGCs/MCGCs all the time (Not unlike USPS) so sometimes you can slip through now it looks like it's too late

Don't think so. Honestly, I was trying to make request as fast as possible, given that people here reported getting their CB changed to $.05.

Here are my data points: (cards shipped from Coppell, TX and I live in Topeka, KS)
- Card 1: shipped 6/21 - received 6/26
- Card 2: shipped 6/25 - received 6/29
- Card 3: shipped 6/30, probably would have received today if it wasn't a holiday. I expect to receive it on Monday 7/6.

Anyone tried getting a MO at the post office with the physical cards? Wondering if you need a special trick to use it like you have to at Walmart
