Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Getting ready to port my number out of Sprint... what does Sprint use as the "password" to allow the port out to another provider? I'm looking at the info required for the port out to my new service provider and they want/need, acct #, phone # and PASSWORD. I can give them the phone # and acct# but I'm not certain what to enter as the password... please and thank you.
The password the new carrier is asking is the Sprint Pin #

Besides paying Citi credit card or t-mobile billing I haven't found a way, so I have requested physical cards for most of my Virtual cards.
My virtual cards were emailed this morning, less than 24 hours after it was approved. Was about to call to get physical cards. Are you saying these virtual cards work on TMobile billing?

See attachment for what the $15 plan includes. I bought two of these deals (SIM Kit + $15 Plan) using the $15 off code in March this year. Back then, the $15 plan came as a separate time card which you could apply to any phone on Tracfone. Now the days and units are preloaded to the SIM.
If possible, select an AT&T SIM instead of Verizon. To activate a TF/Verizon BYOD SIM, you have to provide the IMEI of a phone that's on Verizon's "whitelist" (not stolen, not for non-US market, not still on Verizon contract, etc). You can't use the same IMEI for more than one SIM, so you would need multiple phones (or IMEIs) for multiple SIMs. With AT&T SIM, no IMEI is required, so you can activate a bunch of SIMs for use with one single phone.
Make a separate order for each deal (SIM + $15 plan). Once the order was accepted, clear the browser's cache or use another browser for the next order.

If you create an (optional) account, you can put all the SIMs into that account and pick a PIN for the account which applies to all SIMs/phones in the account. Makes it easier to port out from Tracfone later if you want.
I'm a long-time TF user and help people in the Tracfone section of Howard Forums. I'll be happy to answer questions.
Do you have to ask the customer service for the account number? The PIN is what you create for the account so you already have it. Do you activate the SIM on the website and then insert it in the phone? For visible, you have to activate via the app + phone. Thanks.

Sprint referral keeps telling that I am on 1 year BYOD and am not eligible for the $50 referral.

I was on BYOD for the past two years, but am on the kickstarter plan for this promo. How do I get this in to their heads? I already gave them my account number.
Did you get a new sprint account number for the kickstart? this number can be found on your monthly sprint bill...

Ask them what account number they have on file for your referral profile..

Give both account numbers (old free BYOD account and new KS account) to them and ask them to update your referral profile to reflect the new account number...

I was able to load my virtual gift card to google pay. Any idea if we would be able to load it to Amex Serve/Blue Bird if the store has terminal that can work with NFC instead of having to insert the physical debit card to transfer the money? Thanks.

My mother is still on my BYOD line (I used to be on this). I am on the kickstarter line. So there are two different accounts opened right now, but my number was transferred to the kickstarter (after being on visible for two months). I am on the phone doing an escalation. If this doesn't work. I will do this.

EDIT: They just gave me a 50 dollar credit. I'll take it. I'm sick with dealing of sprint. As long as I get the $300 GC. Then that's good enough.

WOW. Congratulations! Do you need to provide BF information such as your physical address in addition to your Paypal account email when you chose Paypal as payment option?
When I initially signed up for BF, all information was provided including physical address. But I don't think omitting that information will be the cause of Sprint not paying or BF not paying whoever it may be.

I've never ported out of Tracfone. Based on what xfinity says "TracFone. Your account number is the MEID or IMEI serial number on your phone, or the last 15 digits of your BYOP SIM card".

To activate a Tracfone BYOD SIM:
1. Log into your TF account, use ADD DEVICE to add the SIM to your account. This step is optional, but it'll make it easier to manage the SIM, check balance, etc.
2. Click on ACTIVATE on the SIM that you want to activate, select Keep My Number (if you're porting in), provide port-in phone number and acct #, PIN of previous carrier.
3. Once the port-in is completed (log into TF account and check status/messages later if it's not done immediately), put the SIM into your BYOD phone and make test calls/texts, set APN, etc.

Sprint sims are the only ones that I know that can be used again. The rest are just 1 time use.

Typically, a CDMA SIM (Sprint, Verizon) can be reused. GSM SIMs are not reusable.

Who gave you $50 credit?
Customer care rep or referral support team or who?

Interesting idea. I think we should be able the VC to either a Samsung Cash or Apple Cash account as well. Peace

Samsung Cash can be used a MasterCard debit card via Samsung Pay. Not sure about Apple Cash though. I think Apple cash can transfer funds to your bank account for free.
