Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If possible, select an AT&T SIM instead of Verizon. To activate a TF/Verizon BYOD SIM, you have to provide the IMEI of a phone that's on Verizon's "whitelist" (not stolen, not for non-US market, not still on Verizon contract, etc). You can't use the same IMEI for more than one SIM, so you would need multiple phones (or IMEIs) for multiple SIMs. With AT&T SIM, no IMEI is required, so you can activate a bunch of SIMs for use with one single phone.
Make a separate order for each deal (SIM + $15 plan). Once the order was accepted, clear the browser's cache or use another browser for the next order.
If you create an (optional) account, you can put all the SIMs into that account and pick a PIN for the account which applies to all SIMs/phones in the account. Makes it easier to port out from Tracfone later if you want.
I'm a long-time TF user and help people in the Tracfone section of Howard Forums. I'll be happy to answer questions.
I was on BYOD for the past two years, but am on the kickstarter plan for this promo. How do I get this in to their heads? I already gave them my account number.
Ask them what account number they have on file for your referral profile..
Give both account numbers (old free BYOD account and new KS account) to them and ask them to update your referral profile to reflect the new account number...

EDIT: They just gave me a 50 dollar credit. I'll take it. I'm sick with dealing of sprint. As long as I get the $300 GC. Then that's good enough.
To activate a Tracfone BYOD SIM:
1. Log into your TF account, use ADD DEVICE to add the SIM to your account. This step is optional, but it'll make it easier to manage the SIM, check balance, etc.
2. Click on ACTIVATE on the SIM that you want to activate, select Keep My Number (if you're porting in), provide port-in phone number and acct #, PIN of previous carrier.
3. Once the port-in is completed (log into TF account and check status/messages later if it's not done immediately), put the SIM into your BYOD phone and make test calls/texts, set APN, etc.

Samsung Cash can be used a MasterCard debit card via Samsung Pay. Not sure about Apple Cash though. I think Apple cash can transfer funds to your bank account for free.
