My time to port out of Sprint will be the next few days ( wait to receive my gift card) I know right now Visible lowered the promo to $50 and ATT $250 , but only limited to two lines? Could anyone please let me know what other ways to port out and terminate the lines besides H20 ? Thanks in advance.

I already made one manual (non-autopay) payment on this account.
My understanding is that customers are allowed to make a single manual payment and still retain their autopay discount on the account. More than one manual payment disqualifies the monthly autopay discount. Is that correct?

Question: can I make another manual payment when I receive the Sprint GC?
This will be my 4th and final payment (assuming Sprint moves it butt and mails out my GCs) arrive) and is due on July 30 (for usage period 7/9 - 8/8).

Or conversely can I just remove my CC from the autopay and just register the GC info as the payment source for autopay?

Quote from myyueng :
Yes you can use the prepaid card to pay your sprint bill you don't need to turn auto pay off , just make a one time payment online.

Here is sprint express pay for one time payment without login: https://www.sprint.com/apps/express-payment/

If this is a physical card, activate https://myprepaidcenter.com before use.

If this is a virtual card, and you are given the 16 digits card number, CVV and expiration date MMYY, I believe you can just use it directly.

Over on Howard Forums (TF board) and in this thread on Slickdeals https://slickdeals.net/f/14167199-tracfone-sim-30-days-of-service-500-minutes-text-mb-of-data-on-at-... many people who used a discount code to get $15 OFF had their orders shipped then recalled by TF. TF made FedEx return all the shipments to them (one FedEx driver even attempted to retrieve a shipment that was already delivered). TF claimed the code was posted on Slickdeals and abused by SDers. I was worried that TF might void the SIMs that we had ordered. But most of our orders were placed and delivered before 7/1 when the code was posted and the stampede began. So our SIMs are good for use.
Thank you for this great info. Repped. I had received the sim on June 24 or so. So hopefully they are all ok.

Is buying a device required for BB KS? $30 activation fee can't be waived. How do you replacing a number? Thanks.
Quote from myyueng :
Depending on the sales associate, some some will let you BYOD. I don't think bb will waive your the activation fee but you can try ask sprint to waive it for you...call sprint porting department to do a port in to replace the phone number
BB doesn't charge activation fee, Sprint does.
Sprint number can be ported out and ported back to BB KS the same day. I did it a week ago. That way, you don't have to replace your new number. But it's important to do ports right not to lose your account.

The last time I created a TF account was in 2001. Didn't have any problems.

Try contacting TF using Chat, so you don't have to put up with the rep's accent. Go to TF web site, click on HELP-->Contact Us-->Online Chat. If you don't see the red Click To Chat Now button, turn off any ad/pop-up blocker, or try another browser. Ask the rep to create an account for you. If they pick a PIN, ask them what it is (usually the last 4 digits of phone number) so you can change it.

Never ran into problem like this, have a couple of accounts. If you have another TF sim card with $15 plan that you need to use/activate for porting, perhaps that one would work better. If second sim activation+account creation works, first line can be added to that account.

Another potential solution: if you have any TF sim, new or deactivated, without a plan attached to it, you can activate that sim and transfer your TF line with all balances to that sim card. People who did TF's Amazon or eBay $25 eGC promo received 3-in-one sim kits, and used just one of them to get that eGC. So remaining 2 sim cards can be used to swap sim cards for existing active lines/numbers and create an account in the process. For this purpose, TF's deactivated sim cards can also be re-used, even gsm sim cards.

Email addresses were never an issue for me, but I am not sure about current situation due to what Mr. Pham mentioned. Perhaps TF is trying to make it harder for people like SDers to use those sim cards.
Here is the update. Tracfone. This is to help others who may run into this or similar issue.

Ported out 1st line from Sprint acct. Couldn't create acct during SIM activation. Couldn't create the acct even after the activation.

Chatted with cust service and she created the online acct for me. They emailed the password, which doesn't appear i can change. The first line was added to this acct.

I added the 2nd SIM to this acct, which wasn't activated yet. Then started the activation process. After filling the port info, clicking continue didn't do anything. Tried to activate the sim without logging into the acct. Same thing. Changed the ip address and same behavior.

Finally, chatted with cust service and asked them to activate the sim and port the number....spend about 30 minutes to get that done.

I don't know if the experience with the 2nd SIM above is due to what Mr Pham reported from the Howard Forums.

This time I am going to activate the SIM without adding to my acct. Then once it is activated, I will add that number to my acct. Hopefully this method will work better.

H2O was so much easier even without adding $$$.

I will update this with data points from remaining 3 lines.

A GC won't be accepted as a source for autopay because they can't be assured that there will be sufficient balance when the next payment is due.

i didn't even install 2 sim cards on their respective phones, still received the gift cards. (ordered and activated before Apr 9th)
waiting for 2 other gift cards (ordered on 9th and activated on 13th)

For people who opted for virtual cards? How can we convert into cash?

Virtual Card --> Buy money order --> Deposit?
Any success stories?

Yes you can make multiple one time payments to sprint w/o losing the auto pay discount.

No, prepaid gift card not are allowed for recurring charges, so not working for auto pay.

You nailed it
I think that should not be a problem, not turning on the phones as someone in this group did the same.

Quote from needgeech :
I did not turn on/insert/even have 2 of my phones (former sprint phones that I had the IMEI's on but are somewhere in the garage).
Ordered and activated on 04/09 and got all 5 updated this morning to "valid" and "10 days" messages

my lines were activated at signup with a rep though. They don't check for usage, just that it was activated and stayed that way.

Wasn't sweating it that much. my 5th line on BYOD free year was a phone that I signed up with, never opened, and returned to store. That phone stayed on my account for half a year until I replaced it with another phone.
That's good to know. Yes, i remember someone in this group mentioning they never opened the phone boxes. I called promotions department and they said they are escalating the issue and told me everything is looking good and i should expect cards in about two weeks. Fingers crossed.

oh that's nice. That means we can pay our credit card balances using virtual gift cards. Then i might go for virtual GC from BF with 5% extra. Thank you for the info.
