D3 is great, no need to buy the D5. If I ever upgrade again it will be copper core and that'll only be because I've become rich enough and want them for the hell of it. D3 are really nice

Reality? The handles suck. I mean really, really bad. Anytime you pick a pan up with something in it those cupped ridges dig into your hand. I ended up buying cheesy looking silicon handle covers to make them usable, but they still suck.
If I cooked more there is no way I would still have them. They might be great pans but this is a critical flaw. Don't do it.

Sorry about that. Not a pan expert, but look at this table. I think the complaint people have on the reviews is this is the D3, not the D5. D5 is referred to as their original "Stainless" version.
