Great TV, only issues from my experience is the Netflix app's video will be fuzzy at times, and the clearmotion/smoothing can leave artifacts most of the time.
Opinions from those who know a lot about T.V.'s would be greatly appreciated. (I did some research, but don't know squat. )
I just pulled the trigger on a 55" Hisense H8F for $499.
I see that this TCL is highly rated, but is it significantly better than the H8F? To the point that it's worth the additional $100?
Usage will be for watching TV and streamed content only. No gaming or anything else.
Thanks for your help!

I love my 65 and 55 inch 625 series tcl tvs. Also have the 6 series 75 inch. Its awesome as well. Bought my kid a 32 inch. They all work perfectly
Not a bad deal, and I just bought one. But the normal price is $549 not $899. The highest it ever was on amazon was $599 and it's been $549 for all of 2020.
Yes - sorry about that. Total brain-fart. I paid $399 for the Hisense and am wondering if it makes sense to spend the extra $100 to get the TCL instead.

No it doesn't. Roku TV on the TCL is better than android tv but they are close enough in picture quality that it's not worth the time or money.
I can't remember which one has a better, voice remote with headset earphone jack, or if they both do, but this is the 6 series (55R613) from Costco.com (also available in-store), with a far superior warranty for $399.99:
And, having said that, I don't see a big enough difference to not just buy the 4-series 55" at Costco for $269.99 and pocket the money? I have the 4-series in 43" and it's fantastic!
After all, this last "stimulus package" just made your $400 savings worth about $270, so there's that. #EndTheFed

I assume you mean you paid $399 for the H8F...?
