If you're in the market for a work light the extra batteries make this a great deal.

Fantastic light. Runs on battery or electric. Has high and low setting and lights up a good sized area. The light will blink when the battery is starting to get low. If I remember right I ran mine for two days while putting shelves in my garage and went through one 4ah battery and part of a second one.
i got this when it was offered with the brushless circular saw, light and 2 batteries for $99 bucks

This is a great portable light,,,will be using it camping this summer

99 bucks is expensive to me if you dont already own other ryobi one tools.

When they ran the 2 tools and 2 batteries deal recently,,,i jumped on it,,,

I'm beginning to this it was a marketing ploy to get me hooked on the ryobi system

anyway,,,it worked,,,I'm hooked,,LOL
wait,,,,,what???

The light alone is $70 at Direct Tools Outlet. If you want both the startup kit and the light, it is a good deal. Otherwise, they have bundled the starter kit with more expensive tools at the same price in the last 4-5 months.

Own one and will also confirm it's a fantastic light. I think if you had 2 of these you could work outside in the night without issue. Does pretty greta ont he batteries too. I think it's about 45 minutes for every amp hour.

Love the light. The high setting is almost too much to be used indoor.

Agreed. I used this the other week in a 10x20 shop last week that didn't have power and it was more than enough to light up the area/use a miter saw when hanging from the rafters.

Seems expensive still but really great light. Bought it from CPO tools for like $35 and probably my favorite light, even better than milwaukee and dewalt lights that I own.

Ryobi makes really affordable entry level products, so it's definitely easy to get hooked into their ecosystem.

It's very common to see drywall installers use nothing but Ryobi compact drivers, for instance.

Plus, with battery adapters, you can always take their batteries and use them on other brands.

Anybody know, or how do I find out, what is the return value of the light if I just want the battery kit?
