I bought one of the circ saws six years ago, that is just now on its way out, after years of very heavy use for various projects and some fairly extensive remodeling. Just deciding if I should jump on this or wait for a brushless or large one to pop up.

Moderate diy-er. Don't have a table saw and at this price it's almost worth grabbing the circular to keep attached to a Kreg rip jig which I found surprisingly useful

I own this and the jig saw is junk, Circular saw is OK. But for the price, you might as well get the 6 1/14 circular on sale. The jig saw will not cut along a line, the blade twists and wanders.

It might be the issue of Ryobi blade? I have used Dewalt XR jigsaw with Ryobi blade, and I can not cut a line either due to the twisting of the blade.

Nice try...owned both, both are inconsistent garbage.
Circular saw is horribly underpowered and not true to the plate and the jig saw suffers from horrible blade wander due to the weak blade guide it comes with.
I own many ryobi tools and recommend most of them (their 18ga brad nailer is one of the best deals out there) but this saw & jig saw are hot garbage.

The ryobi blade should be tossed from the factory. A diablo blade was infinitely better but the saw was still horribly underpowered and suffered from the tool shutting off mid cut often. Get a more powerful saw, even the brushless 6.5" ryobi, and never worry about this.
