Here is the same combo for $10 more but you get extra blades for each. I have no idea if the OEM blades are any good though...

Decent price but really prefer the 7" version. 5" is fine for really smaller projects like dowels. You'll wish you had the 7" for any really task, though.

Not sure why the down vote but this guy is right. I had the smaller one originally as part of a combo pack and gave it away and got the bigger one because the smaller one couldn't cut anything of size.

These aren't brushless, expect worse battery life.

I've had the 5" for years and have cut plywood and 2x4s with it. It's not a powerhouse so you have to take it slow, but it's also super handy not having to break out with my biggest tools

The real knock on the 5.25 blades is not being able to cut a 2x4 on an angle with a single pass. Blades will last longer for the larger size, the 7.25 saws tend to be more powerful (brushless motors as well). Larger blades also track straighter, which for less experienced users is a bigger issue. The 5.25 does weigh like a pound or so less, so it's easier to manipulate when not cutting. 5.25 blades a slightly cheaper usually.

There's also a 6.5, most of the things about the 7.25 apply here as well.

tl;dr, if you occasionally cut 2x4's on right angles, 5.25 is fine.

Try to cut a 4x4 and get back to me. If you already have it fine but I'm trying to save people money here by learning from my mistakes. If you don't need these tools right now then wait for a different deal.
