Lowest price I recall seeing for this. Basically a Paul McCartney style "Beatles" bass guitar. Well reviewed with the typical caveats for an inexpensive instrument.

Get the Indio. This is a good bass, but the Indio is better (I've owned both).
Saw this deal yesterday and thought it could be a long and winding road getting this playable but once you do you'd be wanting to play it like eight days a week, but definitely something that could come together for you I'd imagine, otherwise you could just let it be. Just let us know if you need any help and we can work it out. Just some advice... from me to you.
How's the sound/tone of this? I've got a dozen basses but none are hollowbody. This would be something to tinker with on recordings more than anything.

You can get them in tune with the open strings, but if you start playing up around the 12th fret, you sound out of tune. There's no way to adjust the bridge to compensate, so you're just stuck.
If I'm going to get a cheap bass to play around with, I'll always go with a knock off of a Fender P-Bass or Gibson Firebird Bass over something like this.
Get back to where you once belonged.
Your going back to the USSR. RIGHT away
