This laptop includes a 1-year Depot/Carry-in warranty.
You have got a 15 inch laptop that had a dedicated GPU with 6700HQ processor.
This is an ultrabook in slim form factor. Though this has 2 years old processor, it ia still a good price for those wanting a good device for day to day tasks and media consumption.

I got the 720 4k 16gb 256gb gtx1050 for around $900 last year. I would recommend waiting or saving a little more and looking into the Dell XPS for a brighter screen

Wife has been using this since November 2018, we bought it primarily as a new laptop for he Master's degree, and for an ultralight to use during travel. No complaints.
Great screen, super light and well built (metal build), and great touchpad. I get the down-spec version of this, with the i5 and only 8GB ram for $580.

I agree. For everyday work this is a good price especially with its large RAM and SSD capacities.
For video editing or other cpu-hungry tasks, if you can wait a couple of months for a good deal, Ryzen 4000--and to a lesser extent, Ice Lake--will offer far better performance.

I added all my info so everyone would know it's not an apples to apples comparison but it does show you can get a lot more computer for not a lot more $. If it's just for work it's fine and I like the build quality of mine but I wish I would have gotten a computer with brighter screen as 300 knits isn't great with how many windows I have. That's why I would look into an XPS for my next machine.

In a normal environment , agreed. But , Supply chains are disrupted and many computers are hard to find and / or suppliers know this and are not cutting deals.
Not the best deal ever - agreed.
Decent deal in a global crisis if you need something now - yes
