This post is either a flat out lie, yours were defective, or you need to get your hearing checked.

You need to select the wood grain color instead of black one.

My R-15PM got canceled yesterday, so it's good timing for me to order this instead.
So these are better than the Klipsch at full price?
Granted you would need an amplifier.
But Those equalizer functions on the remote look pretty nice.
Edit ... I see, it's the p.m. version so that means they're powered already.

Ya we know China and Corona virus but Edifier is a solid brand. I can speak the same for DJI, Xiaomi and Yi. There are some good brands, may be we should convince them to move to US or Taiwan since they are good competition. Let's give a slack for good brands.

R-15pm wouldn't need an amplifier. They are powered monitors

I just got a brand new fluance rt81 turntable. I would like to have the best sound quality so I'm thinking about skipping Bluetooth is this the only way the speaker connect is by bluetooth or can I connect by cables directly to my turntable ?

No it's subjective. I guess that person appreciates audio more closer to studio recording. This one enhances the audio digitally. To some that is more appealing.

I don't know which one is better to be honest. I only read reviews and both seem to be good enough for me. R-15PM is powered also, btw.

Your best be would be to turn on the built in preamp in the Fluance and then connect the turntable to these speakers via RCA cables.

I think I had a pair of these 10-15 years ago and sold them. Sound was harsh from what I remember, although could've been that specific pair. It's much better value to just buy passives and a small amp.

You pay a premium for worse quality to have an amp built in.
Do you have a recommended setup in this price range?

Damn, just when I bought myself the 1850s two weeks ago for $200. I'm loving them so far so I can only imagine what these sound like. This is a steal
