Only problem with buying from Wyze is the shipping cost.$3.99 for me..not as good as the posted deal from Home Depot.

Does anybody who have these know how well they work with fluorescent tube fixtures like overhead garage lighting? Historically these kind of lights don't work well with digital switches and you have to buy more expensive relay-based switches to keep them from flickering, but I don't know if that's still the case as I would have expected them to figure it out since fluorescent and LED lightbulbs are the standard today.

$3.10 to skip a trip to Home Depot. Unless you're already going there for something else, that's $3.10 in gas and odometer depreciation alone. Plus whatever your takehome pay is a half hour is. For me, a pickup
trip needs to save at least $30 to warrant not paying shipping. I wish slickdeals would flag pickup deals so I could hide them all permanantly.

Anyone know if these will start an electric heater? I would like to add a wireless switch to the heater in my chicken coop so that I don't have to walk out in the rain or snow.

Reading replies downthread has made me decide to advise against using with a heater at all. Read on to see other folks' experiences.
Fire hazard is the biggest concern and next would be whether it would be too much current draw at startup to be practical.
They had me at fire hazard.
