QA Edit: Seems the 50% off appliance part of this deal may have died but users as of today 5/1 still say they're getting the 50% off on open box TVs still. So we will let this thread stay in Hot Deals for another day or so, for users that still can get it.

I was shopping around for a new washer/dryer, and picked out a pair by LG. Called in to the store to find out what might be damaged on the washer since you can't go in and see it. The Best Buy website lists the open box price as $695.99. They went over and looked at it, told me about the scuffs, and then mentioned "oh, and the open-box promotion brings it down to $347.99
I bought it, then called the other Best Buy that had the matching dryer, also as open-box. I asked them what was wrong with it, and about the price since "another Best Buy said you're running an open box promotion" and we all know that could be specific to one location or whatnot. The guy on the phone said the price I got the washer for was crazy, he'd never heard of such a thing. He went to explain that open box pricing changes all the time depending on the new item sale prices etc, but he'd ask his manager. He came back and said that there's an additional coupon he has to scan, for 50% off open box major appliances. The Geek Squad extended warranty price is based on the price you pay, not MSRP, so that also goes down in price should you be interested.
Pricing on the website does NOT reflect this promotion. You must call the store so they can scan the coupon, and pay over the phone. My order doesn't show any SKU for a coupon, just the super-low price.

I think at most, I'd be able to DIY an oven range, and for that I don't *think* I'd need to rent a truck as I think it could fit in the back of either our Rav4 or Mazda CX9... even that is iffy because if this thing weighs a lot (says close to 200lbs on their sit) it's not gonna be fun loading or unloading. Ughhhh... I guess all the savings is in lieu of the manual labor side of things haha.
If they offered curbside delivery, I totally would have been all over this no second guessing.

Be nice but persistent. When I called the store they said the price was $399.99 because that's what it showed online, and that this item wouldn't be eligible for any additional discounts (even after I specifically asked about the friends and family discount). While on the phone I politely asked if they could ring it up just to confirm it came up at that price, and they said it was ringing up at $224.99 (they seemed quite surprised by this). I had them put it on hold for me, drove over there, and picked it up with no problems.
From calling around I also found a Vizio M658-G1 (65" M-series QLED) for $299.99 at the Marysville, WA location, but they were not willing to put it on hold for me and said if someone got there before me they would sell it to them instead. Marysville is pretty out of the way for me so I didn't want to drive all that way for nothing and just went for the 55" TCL in Seattle.
Good luck everyone! There are great deals to be had here, you just have to call around and be patient.
