This size disappeared from the Home Depot website the other day after the recent $99 front page deal. It's now back for $10 lower at $89.88 and is currently available for free shipping and store pick up as stock permits.

    This ladder is awesome. Just picked it up for 99 dollars yesterday. I don't know why other folks think this ladder is heavy. Unless you are a petite 90lb female, you should easily be able to move this around. If not have your wife move it for you. I am around 5 6" 135, this ladder is light for me. Maybe lift some more weights?

    You're directing your anger at the wrong person. Instead of blaming your fellow slickdealer why don't you direct blame at these "American" companies outsourcing production and the politicians that allow this to happen. Quite simply it's incredibly hard to buy anything that is not produced overseas and especially in china. It's not the consumers fault.

    Don't know about the current crop of little giants, but my first gen one has built in provisions for a scaffolding configuration, while this one needs an optional set of rail brackets.
    I've never really needed to use that anyway, but that's one difference between mine.
    The one I have is from when they first came out and was built much heavier. This one is pleasant to tote around in comparison. Ambivalent about the slide locks being plastic covered, probably need to be careful not to impact it.
    Worthwhile getting it for all around utility.

    I have an older Werner 17'. Works great. Might replace it with this and sell the werner. That extra 1' and 10lb lighter weight well be helpful

    Edit. Looks like the extra 1' is a bust. Both give you a reach capacity of 18.1'

    Still considering it as it is much lighter.

    avoid shipping damage

    going to store anyways

    already passing store or going to be near it

    return it on the spot if you dont like it/its damaged
