This size disappeared from the Home Depot website the other day after the recent $99 front page deal. It's now back for $10 lower at $89.88 and is currently available for free shipping and store pick up as stock permits.

    This ladder is awesome. Just picked it up for 99 dollars yesterday. I don't know why other folks think this ladder is heavy. Unless you are a petite 90lb female, you should easily be able to move this around. If not have your wife move it for you. I am around 5 6" 135, this ladder is light for me. Maybe lift some more weights?

    You're directing your anger at the wrong person. Instead of blaming your fellow slickdealer why don't you direct blame at these "American" companies outsourcing production and the politicians that allow this to happen. Quite simply it's incredibly hard to buy anything that is not produced overseas and especially in china. It's not the consumers fault.

    Both the Costco and Home Depot ladders are 15' fully extended. The 18' number is the max "reach" (same for both).

    They always have refunded to the new, cheaper price in the past. Haven't shopped there in a while tho, us Lowes exclusively now do to being retired military. Too many benefits to pass up and a cleaner store.

    Maybe... my 375lb rated Werner is about 5 years old and kind of heavy. Then again, so are the heavy duty rated aluminum extension ladders far more heavy than the homeowner models. My Dad has pins in one ankle from a homeowner model and I don't mind the extra ladder weight for safety.

    The height capability is equivalent to within 2". The Little Giant Mega Lite from Costco that was on sale for 99.99 March 29 probably is a better deal as it already includes the wheels and has integrated scaffold capability built in without needing the loose accessory rail brackets for $20 extra. Wheels add another $17, so it totals a bit more. If you don't need the scaffolding setup or wheels, the Gorilla is better.

    good point, didn't think about it, Costco's "up to 15 ft" jumped at me as Homedepot was 18 ft.
    Since it's the same for max reach, and Costco's has wheels, it's a better deal.
    Wondering how these are compared by weight.
